15% discounts for park tickets if you have annual pass

I am planning to get an annual pass for myself to get room discounts for RP. The Universal website states that I can get 15% discounts for multi-day tickets. So, does it mean that I can buy my annual pass, and then get 15% discounts for regular 3-day park to park tickets for DH and DDs?

Yes but you have to activate the pass before you can purchase the other tickets. So you need to pick up your pass and go through the turnstiles and then come back out and buy the tickets.

How much does the annual pass save you on the hotels?

We were looking at HRH 4 nights this June, standard room for $1124 and with AP got pool view for $985 (no standard view available at AP rate). The difference between non-resident AP and 4 day park to park We were going to get was $85, so all told we saved about $54 dollars on the hotel and got a higher category room.

The ticketing agent on the phone was able to tell me the final cost of the tickets at the gate minus the 15% and I think it worked out to a few dollars cheaper than the online price. It was not much less than online discounted tickets, but definitely not more.

We've never been to Universal before but since our dd has been saving for 14 months just for WWHP souvenirs and our two ds' can eat more each than dh and I combined, I figure we'll put the merchandise and food discounts to good use too. HTH!
