15 Days to Disney and We are about to get 6" to 12" of SNOW?!

I only have 15 days to go and we are supposed to get 6" to 12" of SNOW this weekend!!!!!! I could NOT be any more ready for a trip to Disney!!! This has been THE LONGEST winter EVER! I mean, it's almost MAY for pete's sake! -- Oh how I wish I was getting on that plane tomorrow morning!

How's the weather in Orlando? Is it cooler this year than normal? Doesn't matter really, I'd take anything above 50 about now.

Yea! 15 days for my family too! Although the weather won't really be any different for us, WE'LL BE AT WDW!!!!!

OH!!! You poor thing!! At least it's not coming when you are flying to WDW!!! 12/03 our flight was delayed 12 hours because of snow!!! Needless to say, I was NOT HAPPY!!! We had PS at Chef Mickeys and MVMCP for that evening!!! Luckily we were able to do these things another night!!

Just keep watching your Disney DVDs and watch the snow melt!!

I don't know about Orlando, but here in Texas it's hot!! I'm peeling terribly from a bad sunburn I got two weeks ago at my GD's soccer game.

LOL WaltD4Me you must live around us! Outside of Cleveland right? lol Our city is expected to get hit with between 10" to 14"!!! HURAH I SAY!!! You know why!? You'll be in WDW soon, in the WARM weather! Enjoy the snow while it lasts here, and then the difference in weather will be ALL the more apparent to you once you get down to the World!

Personally, I'm doning my snow apparel tomorrow. Maybe well get lucky and get a chance to go sled riding and regress a bit!

Boy do i feel for you. I am very ready for the warmer weather to come. I'm in NY and for the past week we have been in the high 70s - low 80s and this morning i woke up to 45 degrees. I NEED TO GO AWAY!!

Well, here it is, Saturday April 23rd and yes, it's snowing outside! Don't think we'll be as unlucky as you, but you ARE going to WDW before we are, so you're really lucky in my book!

Today we celebrate Earth Day in Dayton, and it's the 5 River Cleanup, I'm not going because of the snow, but DH just had to leave because it does happen rain or shine, never ever have we had snow before!

It is 8:20 and 63 degrees. Very pleasant right now. It has been warm. Today's high is suppose to be 82.

I was at Lowe's last night buying a few plants. I asked a clerk about trailing (vine) petunias. I always liked those up north.
He replied they were getting out of season here as it was getting too hot for that plant now.
Geez, I remember up north only being able to grow that plant starting now through the summer.

14 days to go for us. Today (10 am, sat) it's about 32 out with small wind gusts and some frost on the ground. (Lud., MI) Wish I was going today

I'm in Northern Illinois and I can remember it snowing the second week in May in 1989. It just gets OLD when it's almost May and we're all wearing winter coats! Last weekend we were in shorts and on Monday it was almost 80, now it's in the 40s. It's enough to make you think you're going through menopause even if you're too young or a male...it's hot, it's cold, it's warm, it's frigid. We were at WDW a month ago and the cold makes me miss it more

It's my fault we're getting the snow in the Cleveland area...I washed up and packed away DD and DS snow suits this week! At least I can actually pack up their summer clothes for the trip without them needing any of it next week! Leaving 5/5...goodbye snow!!
