Our last trip in 2012 we purchased the 14Day Unlimited passes and was wondering if those passes are still a ticket option?

Universal only sells them as part of a package but you can purchase through undercovertourist.com

An annual pass might be a better option because it can give you hotel discounts if you are staying onsite.

The better option is the option that gets you what you need. If you're planning on going back inside a year from your first day in the parks, then an AP is better. If you're not, and if the 14 day tickets work best for your plans, then they are better. buying through undercovertourist.com means you'll get real tickets and they might be a bit of a better price than if you buy directly through Universal.

That said, if you look at universalorlando.com and go to Theme Park Tickets, then scroll all the way down, you can see the Orlando Flex Ticket which is the 14 day ticket that also includes Seaworld, Aquatica, and Wet&Wild. That is also available on undercovertourist, as is a Flex ticket Plus which includes Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

Check your place of work to see if they are members of any benefits places. DH's work is part of Beneplace and the 14 day park to park tickets are on there for $178.
