I pick up my DD (14) from my ex's house after work on the 22nd. We leave for WDW the next morning at 6 a.m. and hope to arrive by 7:30 p.m. after a long drive of 866 miles.

Instead I will leave work early on the 22nd (around 3:30 p.m.) and pick up my luggage. Then a quick drive over across the intersection to my DD's place to pick her up. I won't say anything but will turn right instead of going left back to my place. If she asks I'll mumble something about an oil change.

After about 10 minutes I'll pull out a cooler and ask her if she is hungry. Hehee, she should get the point then. We will stop overnight in South Carolina which will leave us 7 hours away.

Have a safe and wonderful trip. Hope your daughter is thoroughly surprised.

:)

We drive down to Disney every year, but yours will be SO much more fun! I can only imagine the excitement on your DD face when she finds out she's going to Disney.

Have a safe and trip!

Yes, I wish I could rig a movie camera and drive at the same time.
13 days...home stretch coming.
