14 days to go - Best Rooms on Property Ranking

Exactly two weeks to go. Or said another way, 10 working days before lift-off.
We'll be in a 2 bedroom at BLT for our first trip. I've read many opinions on the board and there has been a mixed bag of a love/hate relationship with BLT expressed on the DIS. Complaints of furniture scratches and lack of a theme seem to top the list of negative reviews. So I found it interesting to stumble upon this survey that appears on page 113 of the "Unofficial Guide, Walt Disney World 2011". This is a room quality ranking and described in the paragraph preceding as "meticulously maintained" and "sparkling clean and quite livable".
Here's the top 10 on the list out of 26 mentioned.

1. Bay Lake Tower
2. Contemporary Resort
3. Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
4. Polynesian Resort
5. Animal Kingdom Villas
6. Shades of Green
7. Beach Club Resort
8. Beach Club Villas (studios)
9. Boardwalk Villas (studios)
10. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa (studios)

Not sure why they make a point to focus on studios. Maybe the rankers didn't have enough points.

Unless they pick up and move the Magic Kingdom, I believe I'll love BLT either way.

My only comment is that even though it's a 2011 edition, it was probably sent to the publisher early in 2010. My guess is that the rankings would change if done currently.

Those types of surveys depend heavily on personal opinions - IMHO, of course, LOL. So they are fun to read, but shouldn't to be used as a substitute for one's own experience.
