13 days and I so excited I could burst !!! Going SSR & DCL !!

Hi,

I just had to share with someone - Its 13 days until we arrive in the USA for our holiday.

We are stopping 2 nights SSR studio then going on 7 night DCL western. After which we go back to SSR and stop for 5 nights in a 1 bedroom.

It will be our first time that we have stopped @ SSR since we added it on last Aug. ( We have owned @ BWV since 1999)

I would love some comments on SSR. I am thinking about doing a carriage ride with DH - where do you book these?

We have requested the Springs section as I have back problems and I dont wanna walk to far to pool / restaurant etc.

Is there a community hall like BWV and can you hire out movies ? Also did I read somewhere that there is a BBQ that you can use?

I can't help with SSR questions, but I just wanted to wish you a Bon Voyage!!
We really enjoyed our Disney cruise, and hope you do too. Sounds like a dream vacation!

Very excited for you! You'll have to let us know how it works out to do both land and sea.

We thought SSR was terrific when we stayed there. We were happy with our Springs location...we liked being able to bop right over to the pool and community areas. I know there are grilling areas at SSR, just not sure where exactly (maybe you can locate a good map on here). We met Dan the Horse, although we didn't take a ride. But lots of people have posted about what fun it is to do. I remember seeing a book full of DVD selections to rent in the little store just off Artist's Palate.

We really enjoyed Downtown Disney, and it was very easy to get back and forth between there and SSR. With your back issues, you might not want to walk, but it's a quick bus or boat ride.

(P.S. we're saving up to visit your neck of the woods...my one regret in life is that I never studied abroad, so for my 40th birthday I'm planning to be studying in London. Kinda crazy, huh?
