Just some general thoughts about trees:

If you are donating a tree, the tree can get to the resort in several ways.

-You can bring the tree yourself, use it during your trip, and then leave it for other families to enjoy. The last person using the tree boxes it up and ships it back to you.

-You can ship the tree down before your trip, let others share it before you get there, use it during your trip, let others share it afterward, and have the last person ship the tree back to you.

-You can ship the tree down, let others share, and be the last person on the list. You bring your own tree home.

-You can even ship a tree down if you are not going to WDW. This year, our tree will have a lovely time at SSR while we stay home and save money for our trip next summer.

Please consider donating a tree to help more people share in the Holiday Magic.

If it would help, we could use the tree that I donated (SSR#2) at BLT instead of SSR. I was going to do a "horse" theme for the tree decorations, but I just finished the tree skirt and the tree has been evolving into somewhat of a more generic Disney theme lately. It might look okay at BLT, too. (I could do the horse theme another year.)

...Hobby Lobby has 40% Christmas Trees.

Trees should be decorated and 2 1/2 to 3 feet (no bigger than 4 feet, please!)

Yes, it is October, and we are just a month or so away from MVMCP and the Osborne Lights.

If you want to share in a tree, please sign up soon. The donors and coordinators need time to prepare the list and ship the trees so the families can enjoy them.

Hi. I just responded by PM since I see I was sent a message while I was away in Disney. It was a great trip but now back to plan December and our cruise. Ill be at BLT from December 26-December 29 and would love the tree during that time.

Thank you for PMing the BLT coordinator. It is my home resort (so I am biased), and it is a great place to stay!

I posted this on the blt thread too. The dates we'll be there are the end of december and the tree is already going to be in use. Is there a second tree? If not its not a big deal we can just ship one down. I was just curious.

I believe there is just 1 tree right now. If you would be interested in donating a second tree (shipping yours earlier) that would be greatly appreciated.

Otherwise, we just have to go with first to sign up, first to get the tree. This is the system we came up with last year, and while it isn't ideal, it seems the most fair overall.
