As I have no trip for 13 months I wanted to get in the spirit a little and wanted to do a little PTR, well a long away PTR lol.
Cast is me crabbie1 ( Alyson) 12th trip and DB (Richard) 2nd trip. This will be my first trip in 8 years without DD going. This was a very hard decision to make not taking her but our trip last April was not the best regards a very frustrated annoying child . Heat being a factor and impatience waiting for rides. Being Richards first trip I felt this spoilt a lot of the things we had planned to do and ended up not doing 50% of our plans due to spending most the time by the pool. The last 5 days I was ill,with a chest infection so our stay at Bay lake towers was not a good one.
When I have figured out how to upload photos from my ipad I may put some pictures on from our last trip.
Anyway our plans are as follows. We have booked 5 nights at POFQ as we took advantage of the free QSDP and free $200 gift card. I am a DVC member but we do not get the free dining option and for the price and the fact We really fancied staying here we thought we would take up the offer. Whether its the cheaper option I don't know.
As we cannot book DVC yet till 11 months before check in (5th Jan) for our home resort of Wilderness Lodge I cannot say for definite where we will be staying but the plan is to stay at WLV for 5 nights and 3 nights at Grand Floridian Villas. Cannot book this till 7 months before check in and I am sure it will be hard to get in.
Flights Hmmm. After my bad experience with VA last year trying to get a change of dates / refund when my partner died I said I would never use them again. Problem is as I am a very nervous flyer and for some stupid reason I feel safe on their aircrafts. Anyway I have done dummy bookings since august and prices for dates we intend to go have been between £480 and £560. Cheaper with m+m so as indirect are coming up similar unless there is a huge difference we will probably stick with VA.
We may tag 2 days before POFQ if the flights are cheaper but considering TG is the last week in november it may be best to wait and go as planned.
This will be a completely new experience and a different look at disney for me and I am hesitant as to whether I will enjoy it not having Charlotte with me. I am sure there are people on here who have also gone without their kids but it makes me feel sick thinking about it. I feel like a cruel mom but it really did spoil our holiday and not the impression I wanted Richard to have though he said he loved it.

ne being Keys to the Kingdom . Can any of you recommend any other organised tours or nice events to attend ? I have not read much about FP+ or the new Magic bands as it seems a long time away yet to organise and prepare for that. Same with meals. Not planning to do any TS except CP and Ohana Breakfast the first 5 nights. Would like more romantic places to eat as just the two of us but will not go without the fun of the odd character interaction.
