Okay, this may not be of interest but it still does count toward my trip - I went house hunting today. DH, SIL and her DH and I drove up to Leesburg - it was really cloudy and there was definitely a chill in the air. The further north we went, the worse the weather was getting. We drove over to a few new areas of newer homes and boy did I find the one I want, just not sure I want to live that far away from WDW. It was just about the right size and I could think of so many different ways to decorate it with all of my Disney collections. I'll try and make the descriptions short and sweet - when you come into the entry, you find yourself in a courtyard with a separate guest suite to your right, the house is to the left and the pool is just about in front of you. You enter thru the family room, and to your right is a master suite and a bonus room upstairs overlooking a lake, to the left of the family room is the kitchen with a hall to 2 other bedrooms. I love it! But we're still looking :( Saw a few other homes and spent about 4 hours in Leesburg and drove back to WDW down 27 to check out some more new developments on the way back to WDW. Everyone was getting hungry and let me know it, so I suggested since we were so close to WDW that we head over to Planet Hollywood - it was unanimous. Had a great late lunch - I had the "Chicken Crunch" - yummy! Then it was time to head back to the room and call home and check in. SIL didn't know what their plans were but they would come over to our room later that night for some drinks and relaxation. DH and I decided to go over and play a game of foosball at Community Hall - I actually scored a few points - first time ever. Talked with some of the CMs and headed back to the room. DH really wanted to watch sports - withdrawals were setting in. SIL and her DH came over, the boys didn't want to, but SIL had an agenda - a search for some of the Christmas Disney beanies. They were getting hard to find so I suggested that we leave the guys to their tv and sports and we head over to the different hotels - so we were off. We made a quick stop at Dixie Landing because I had remembered seeing them there the other day - they only had Victorian Mickey, and Christmas Pooh. She picked them up and we were off to find Minnie. I told her how we could hit the 3 hotels near the MK and ride the monorail and she was up for that. So we parked at the Contemporary and checked out their Christmas display of the Fab 5 in the lobby and headed up to the stores - no Christmas Minnie there but it is fun to look around in lobbies so we took our time, went up to the monorail and headed over to the Poly. I showed her the Gingerbread House - they had tricked us the other day, it was on the other side of the fountain in the lobby and looked at their decorations and checked their little shops upstairs and there was Minnie - waiting for us. Then we took the monorail over to the Grand Floridian and checked out their Gingerbread House displays and their tree and strolled around the lobby while waiting for the next monorail to come by and take us back to the Contemporary. It was time to go back to OKW and see what the guys were up to. Back at the room we all talked and shared stories and SIL and her DH left around midnight and we decided to meet for breakfast at DL in the morning. I was fast asleep within minutes of hitting the bed, or so I am told

How exciting! Did I miss something? Are you moving to Florida?

Thanks for sharing your trip with us, iluvdisney. :)

Planning on a move to Florida - DH is supposed to work for 2 more years before retirement but says if we find the right house, I may have to go down before him. With the kind of winter we are having right now, I'm more than ready!

I love to look at houses - probably will never move but love to look. Thanks for posting!
