WDW Dining reviews.

I ate at many places on my 12 day trip and have a few comments.

Grand Floridian Café: Breakfast. I had the Eggs Benedict which were good but not quite as good as last time. The allow you to sub hash browns for the asparagus. I love the bright atmosphere here.

‘Ohana dinner. I love all the new changes on the menu. The Lo Mein was much better than the potatoes. The dumplings were really good with the sauces. I don’t eat the shrimp or wings but the salad and meats were great as usual and I really liked the bread pudding better than last time though I still prefer the pineapple and caramel sauce.

Liberty Tree Tavern: Lunch was good as usual. I had the Tri – Corner (roast beef) sandwich which is good but a bit bland. The slaw helps it out a lot. My favorite desert at WDW the Butter Griddled Pound Cake is no longer available so I had the Ooey Gooey toffee Cake. It was really good and reminded me of Kentucky Pie.

Columbia Harbor House. Dinner. The Tuna Sandwich was great as usual. The upstairs area seems to be forgotten by people and is a great quiet place to rest.

Sci_Fi Dine In Lunch. I had the Rueben Sandwich which was real good. Service was pretty good though waiters and waitresses were bussing their tables!

All Star Music Food Court. Dinner. Chili cheese dog and fries and a salad. Was okay. Like something from a Seven Eleven.

The Plaza: Lunch. I had another Rueben and fries. It was good but not as good as the one at the Sci Fi. Service was a bit slow as the wait staff seemed stretched thin.

Pepper Market. Lunch. I had the wet burrito as I love those but it wasn’t as good as before either and was more expensive. 

Shula’s Steak House: Dinner. Best Wedge Salad I have had anywhere. The blue cheese dressing was great and it had plenty of bacon and egg. I had a filet mignon which was excellent though not better or worse then any other place where I have had an excellent one. I ordered a potato pancake which was HUGE and excellent. I had one drink and no desert. Total with tip was $80.

San Angel Inn. Lunch. I wanted to try something different so I ordered the chicken dish. It is an odd one… tons of lightly sautéed red and green bell peppers and onions in a creamy cheese sauce with bits of chorizo. There is melted cheese on top and a grilled chicken breast topping it off. I loved it. Taste was excellent. Chips and salsa were like stale Tostitos and La Victoria.

Tangierine Café. Dinner. Had the chicken wrap sandwich with lentil salad and cous cous salad. It was real good except I think I would go with lamb next time. I am not a lentil fan but the lentil salad was good. Cous cous is always good.

Grand Floridian Café: Lunch. Rueben again with home made potato chips. This was the best Rueben I had and service was real good.

Flame Tree BBQ: Lunch. I had the turkey sandwich. It was fine on the wheat bun but a bit bland. The cole slaw was good and I love the seating area here.

California Grill: Dinner. Got a nice seat next to the window. Tried a new salad which had a poached egg on top. It was interesting to say the least. Made it very rich and I ended up not finishing it. Had the pork and polenta with mushrooms. Was good but not excellent. Service was fine but not excellent. View was great.

Caribbean Beach Food Court. Lunch. Pepperoni Pizza and salad. Salad was prepacked and okay. Pizza was actually good. I was surprised.

ABC Commissary: Dinner. Cheese burger and fruit salad. No big deal. Wasn’t bad.

Yak and Yeti: Lunch. I had the house salad which seemed like a prepacked salad mix doctored up a bit with almonds. Dressing was decent. Won Ton soup was good with nice broth and some veggies in it. The won tons were fairly bland. Main dish was the Maple Tamarind chicken which was good but not great. The rice was good and the veggies okay. I was not very impressed though I love the theme and feel of the place

Coral Reef: Lunch I had never been here and it was pretty nice inside. I got a table near the aquarium window. I had a salad that I don’t remember much about and the NY Steak. It was kind of thin and while cooked to my liking it was just okay.

Caribbean Beach food court. Cheeseburger hot dog and fries. They were fine.

wow! you ate at a lot of different places!

great mini reviews of each - thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the reviews! Sounds like a more than a few restaurants have declined, in your opinion. That's too bad. Seems to be a constant complaint.
