12/7 being offered refunds/switch

And just to reassure everyone again, I have confirmed with VERY RELIABLE sources that unless something totally unforeseen happens (and that is not likely) they will definitely sail on 12/7.

Oh Michelle, I can't believe you waste all that money on Miss Cleo....

Go for it guys! You won't regret it. We are so glad we did not cancel. It was the trip of a lifetime, and if we did not already have all of our vacations for 2003 planned out, we'd be going again next year.

Nah, she's YOUR friend Alex, not mine. :p

Now let's just hope for DECENT WEATHER, the long range forecasts are for rain in Grand Cayman and Cozumel on the days we are in port.

I think we're just going to have to LET IT BE on this cruise and make it fun no matter what! :teeth:

You mean we are going to have to get drunk, disorderly and party really hard?????
OK you talked me into it!

Hello everyone,
It just came on the local news that staff, crew members and everyone else was on the ship giving it the scrub down from morn to night - now it was also announced that even tho the ship is super squeaky clean - the Norwalk virus is be spreaded by hand contact ----including door knobs etc --it also said they do not really know how many were sick with the Norwalk since there were many that were suffering from partying too much and also there were cases of wannabees so they could receive the benefits offtered by Disney - I really hope that isn't so but who am I to say ---I really do not believe the Magic will have any problems and from what I heard on the news it is sailing -----so just believe it will --a Carnival cruise just reported illness and the cruisers will not be given any type of compensation since the illness started the day before coming into port. Now as I have said before my gripe with Disney has been on other issues but I have to give credit were credit is due ----DISNEY stands out for the intergerity and honor which they have done to the max. God bless each and all -----
With love always
Shirley

eyesetc

Thanks for the info but the people going on the 12/7 sailing sound like a fun bunch. I think I will just plan on hearing the "Micky Horn" as we pull away from the pier this coming Saturday.

I forgot to mention that I received 2 Fedex letters today. Maybe they wanted me to be doubly sure that we were going to sail

Received the Fex Ex letter yesterday afternoon also...I had to sign for it... I'm sure there is always a possibility of a last minute cancelling, but it sounds like DCL's intentions are to sail! Somehow, this feels like a maiden voyage!
See ya Saturday, Trresha

Our letter was frozen to the doorstep of our Chicago home last night. Sure glad the wife and I had read about the letters hear or we would have been panicking over a DCL letter three days before our cruise!

(OK, maybe not panicking, since we are AP holders and would just spend a week at the parks if they cancelled the trip, but still).

Dropped by Jewel on the way home and got the Lysol and Purel and Pedialyte and we're all ready to go!

See y'all on the 7th!

Please forgive me for giving the wrong impression. I recieved the same letter that everyone else did. I was only trying to say that we were being given then same options that the 11/30 cruisers were given origanaly. I NEVER meant to imply anything other then that. I am sorry for any confusion that I may have caused. Rest assured that I will stay out of further discussions regarding this subject. Hope you all have a wonderful time.

Laurie, there is no need to apologize! :) I don't think anyone is faulting anything you said.

Hope to see you on the cruise! :)

I am the one who got everyone in a tizzy after that uninformed woman at DCL said a decision had not yet been made. PLEASE don't feel bad !(heck I don't :) )

The "real" temperature here presently is 19 degrees but the wind chill is 1 degree. I was complaining to DH that it is only going to be 63 on friday when we get to orlando and his answer was
"oh ONLY 62 degrees warmer than now!" Wise man! I can't wait!
