Hi, we’re planning a very last minute trip and I’ve been checking constantly for ADRs and finally scored a brunch one for CA Grill but it’s for 12:50. Is that too late? Will we feel rushed? What time do they stop refreshing the food? I’m a slow eater unfortunately. Lol. It’s me, DH and DS8. Thanks!!

I believe our brunch reservation was around 12:50 PM a couple of weeks ago. We didn't feel rushed at all and the restaurant was still full when we were seated. We actually felt the opposite of rushed.. my DH was ready to leave because we had been up since 3:30 AM that morning for our wedding park photo shoot :rotfl: I was hoping we would get to be seated a little earlier, but they were actually running a little behind.

Congrats on your wedding!! That must have been a beyond magical trip! Do you remember how long you took to eat? And the food was still being replenished the whole time? Thanks for chiming in.

I don't anticipate feeling rushed during our 12:45 PM CA Grill brunch. Dinner isn't until 5:00 PM so the staff will have plenty of time to set up and prep for the next seating. Heck, if I could find a later brunch ressie on that day I would jump on it as I don't anticipate we will want more than snacks/small plates through the rest of the day.

I am also wondering about this. I have a choice of 12:10 or 12:40 brunch. We want to have a nice slow brunch but be ready at MK gates for the MNSSHP at 3:30. Which time is better? We really don' want to be hanging around in the time between.

Okay so I went back and looked and my reservation was at 12:45 PM and I took a picture of my buffet plate at 12:30, so I guess we were seated early. It just felt like forever because we went up to the lounge area at 12 PM :scared: I guess we were really hungry :rotfl:My first visit to the buffet was at 12:30 and then I went back right after. They were definitely replenishing items the whole time and put out fresh pastries right after my first visit to the buffet.

The pancakes were sooo good and huge. I couldn't finish them all! Our waitress didn't rush us at all. In fact, we had to ask her to box the desserts up and bring the check because we were so tired :rotfl:

ETA: I took a picture of the desserts at 1:14 PM. We eat fast though and we definitely could've lingered a lot longer.

Thanks so much!! It’s so funny how I’ve been looking for weeks and nothing and today, 2 popped up so I was able to nab a 12:15!

I really appreciate the info as we’ve been known to linger over brunch for hours. Lol.

And I totally get hunger making you think it was later. Lol.

I've been checking for October 28th multiple times every day! I'm hoping something comes open so I can take my parents.. my mom would love the Bloody Mary bar! We had a not too great experience at CG dinner last year and ever since then DH has held a grudge against them, so I don't think I'll take him back for a while LOL. He did finish all of his pancakes though! Oh and the fresh made crepes are awesome! I had one while we were waiting to be seated :rotfl:

I've also been trying to get 10/28. I was able to get a reservation fairly easily for 9/2 and I'm wondering if reservations for October haven't opened up yet.
I did the brunch in April and it was fabulous. I was able to order several half portions of the shrimp and grits and eggs Benedict. I'm not a big fan of sushi so that wasn't of much interest but the salads and deviled eggs were outstanding.

Thanks for the post because we had the same questions - the only ADR we could get is 12:50pm. And I was wondering if it was too late. Thanks for all the information.

Anyone hoping for openings, don’t lose hope. We’re going in a couple of weeks and we wanted BoG, Ca Grill dinner and brunch and Ohana breakfast and couldn’t find anything on my first search. Every one has had multiple openings. Check late at night and early in the morning and any time you can. There will be something!

And mmmmm, crepes...

Thanks so much for the info

We had a 12:40 two weeks ago. We were not rushed at all. All of the offerings at the buffet were still full. The restaurant was full when we arrived, but it mostly cleared out as our meal went on. I actually mentioned to my husband that we would choose that time again in the future! It was nice not being crowded both at the buffet section and out on the roof while looking at MK. It was quiet in the restaurant and the service was excellent, probably more so, because our server was not too busy with other tables.
