We never get any kids here. They have the condos slated as all old people that are in bed already. Have some candy from the cruise still left over just in case. The chocolate is mine

Ewww medical warning. DH was complaining his toe hurt.Took off his shoe and I went to trim the toenail which we thought was the problem, and it was gross looking and wiggling. Took him to the podiatrist and he just ripped that sucker right off. Ugh and I had to be watching. Got an antibiotic for a week as well.

I was going to put our Jack o Lanterns up but, I forgot that when dh moved around the computers (ie:he got a new one and the rest of us rotated) the one that I was left with doesn't have a card slot!!!! UUGGHHH!!! When I pointed that out to him a couple of days ago he offered to buy me a new computer (he knew I wouldn't go for that! LOL!). He told me to at least let him buy me a new monitor (his is a 24' or so and mine is about a 20" or so).

4 of our kids did pumkins last night (28ds came over and wanted to do them with the kids). He is going to be in PA this weekend (his girlfriend lives out side Philadelphia) so, he is going to miss T or Ting with them. 25dd is coming over in a little bit to go with the kids.

Claire is driving us insane -- she wants to go out NOW. She has been in her Cinderella costume since about 1.......

That would be a Halloween Horror!!! It turns out that we don't get very many ToTers in this neighborhood. I'm sure it's becuase to get to my neighborhood (which is very small) you have to get off the real road to a blacktop that has a sign that says *Dead End* and you can only see a couple of houses that sit really far back from the road that have brick fences with iron gates.....

So, maybe I do need a new monitor! LOL! My old computer (and my laptop that I just loaned to my brother last week) had card slots in the them. So, I was used to popping the cards in my computer to see my pics!
I'm actaully thinking I want a new laptop and just letting my brother keep that one... Jon had bought me a HUGH laptop (he wanted me to have a giant screen) and it was heavy and too big for all the *cute* laptop bags! LOL!

I know Jon wants to go look at wireless printers so, I might go with him to look at computer stuff......

Why am I getting people knocking on the door at 9:45pm!!! And the porch light is off??? And not one, but 2 groups of kids within 10 minutes of each other. No parents in sight either.

I hate that! I had no ToTers for about an hour & a half and then at 10pm I had a teenage girl at the door....she was being driven around (I couldn't see who was in the car) it was wierd.

Earlier (about 8:30 or so) when the kids and I were sitting on the porch a group of teens (that were all in costumes) went by to exit the neighborhood.
We yelled out for them to come and get more candy (they had been by earlier) and they were real polite and said *No, thanks.* Only about 2 of the 5 or 6 even had bags. The rest were just walking with them while they all wore costumes. One was a giant banana. It was cute.

We are left with lots of candy -- luckily for Jon and the kids I listened to them and bought only stuff they like. And I was giving out handfuls! LOL!

Aw Debi, that sucks. Hope it doesn't take too long to heal. Are you going to be out of work for a while even without surgery?

We had more than ever...........about 90 children!! I was a balmy 70 degree day which is unusual here for this time of year.

I always buy the kind we like.............that was always a problem til this year when I went to buy some for me at half price at Target. We had nothing much leftover.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I haven't seen the surgeon yet so I'm not too sure about recovery time,but I'm pretty sure that I'll be out of work for a few weeks. There is no such thing as "light duty" in the kitchen. I'll keep ya'll posted.

These are pictures from my DGD's 4th birthday party!!! It was a costume party so I got to use my costumes again!! My DGD was Tinkerbell and my DGS was Captain Hook. John grew a real beard and mustache this time!!

She is in training to be a poodle head too!!!
