12/5/09 -- DUMMY -- The Cruise Your Heart Desires Most ; )

I think I have read everything to catch up..... Luckily no one is talking *too much* :lmao: Even with being gone so much I am probably still the number 1 poster! :rotfl:

I hope all of you have been busy with good things! And I am still praying for jobs for everyone that wants one!

We've been getting home after 11PM everynight and spending the days either out at classes or getting ready for all of our guests -- I have an Aunt arriving today (from Chicago!) to spend 10 days with us and my dad came up (he lives in South Texas) and there are a bunch of Germans coming in this week! :rotfl2:
All to celebrate my dad's 70th b-day.

We have opening night tonight for Cinderella ( 1 show tonight, 2 shows tomorrow & 1 show Sunday and then the same next weekend).

I don't know what I'm supposed to do with my Aunt while we are at the Theater (and tomorrow I'll be there from 12:30 to about 10:30. ).

Everyone have a great weekend!!!!

Steph... I'd say you are in no danger of falling off of the #1 position ... as I'm more or less in th #2 position - and not really posting with any intensity. Most of my visits are "drive by" postings! Alas, they are all "good natured" drive by postings! < chuckles > At any rate... I got this in my email this morning:

Here it comes...

.. however I'm not sure how well I'll be able to effectively make plans. I've already got a
"plan" to sail with the same family members who sailed the PCEBREPO .. and one BIL (Maui) just had a baby born a few days ago + the other is in the middle of buying a new home in Boston. Plus we have to see how the FIL and MIL are doing before we settle on things. So there is a lot to consider before we begin to think of going where the Magic will be...

At any rate - I wanted to encourage everyone else who is anticipating this release to make plans for another wonderful voyage of discovery and pleasure!

So... I have to run now... I volunteered to be a parent lecturer in an "Art Instruction" series t=called something like "The Masters" .. or something like that. I have to sit for an hour on how to conduct the lecture and so on... then I have a team mate parent who will conduct the series with me. SO I gotta run now....

Beverly Hills Chihuahua was not the greatest Disney movie by far!!!:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
I did enjoy Flash of Genius and the movie Blindness was just wierd. How to Lose friends and Nick and Nora were just okay. I am trying to save for the 2011 cruise wherever that might be!!:dance3: :dance3: Hope you don't gamble too much on the ship!!:headache:

Oh well...

... tomorrow Julianna has a birthday gathering where the girls are going to see this Chihuahua movie... and I imagine they'll have a nice time regardless of the movies' technical or qualtative merits (or lack of).

... I have to run now ... as we have a soccer game in about 45 minutes and I'm serving as referee today. Lots to do and time is drawing close to the time to just drop and go. I'm finiahing my brunch as I type this.

Have a great weekend folks! Stay safe and remember to be nice out there!

Just popping in to let ya'll know that I'm still alive!

The 2010 itineraries should be announced tomorrow! We're really looking forward to seeing exactly where the Magic will be going. (And just how much we'll have $ave by 2010).

Just saw the rates for the Baltic cruise for 2010 :headache:

Gonna take a lot of overtime for us to afford this:sad2:

Maybe we'll win the lottery:idea:

Yowza! Our same Cat 9 is listed at 50% more than we paid for the PC cruise.

I'm trying to figure out what the FPO stands for on the rates. Anyone know?

FPO
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search
FPO (pronunciation: each letter is pronounced separately: /eff-pee-oh/) has various meanings:

In military mail, FPO means fleet post office.
In design and printing, FPO means for position only or for placement only. Blank placeholders or temporary low-resolution illustrations are labelled with the acronym FPO to indicate where the final version of an image is to be placed in the final file, film, or plate. FPO images are commonly used while the layout of a print project is being determined, and/or when desired images are still to be scanned or photographed. They preserve the pagination that will be needed once the final images are added.
In compiler optimization, FPO is an acronym for Frame Pointer Omission, an optimization where frame pointers are omitted from the call stack.
[citation needed] In search engine optimization, FPO is short for front page optimization, the process of increasing the amount of visitor click through and reducing bounce rates. This process helps identify short- and long-term solutions in the areas of home page loading and rendering times, including auditing and W3C compliance checks plus more.
IATA airport code (FPO) for the Grand Bahama International Airport in Freeport, Bahamas
In classical music, FPO is an acronym for the now defunct Florida Philharmonic Orchestra.
In finance, FPO is an acronym for Fixed Production Overhead.

Probably no help...... I would go with the "for placement only" and "oops forgot to delete"

Wow - I don't think we're doing any of the special 2010 cruises! The repos might be reasonable, but the dates just don't work with school at all. The Med and Baltic are just out of our league.

I think we are in the same boat. $10-12 grand for steerage.... yikes :scared1:

Plus, don't forget:

PLEASE NOTE: These prices do not include a fuel supplement of $8 per person per day for the first two Guests in a stateroom (maximum of $112 per person) and $3 per day for all other Guests (maximum of $42 per person).

So add another $96 for the first two and $36 for little ones...

the FPO only appears on the one set of fares, I think it was a place holder

Wow! Looks like we won't be doing any of the European cruises! (Unless I hit the lottery! LOL!) Looks like I'm still with a dummy ressie and still searching for a cruise! Looks like 2011 or 2012! New ships!

The dates of the repos won't work with school and in 2010, Kaitlin will be starting middle school! :scared1:

I'll have to find something else to celebrate my big 5-0!

M, good news about the job. :thumbsup2

The 14th should be fun for those calling with 8 new itineraries on sale, 4 for the first time......

Just got home from the weekend...had lots of fun but am happy to be home.

Wow..looked at the new destinations for Magic..some nice cruises but definitely out of our league..will wait for 2011.

We will be going with a group of friends on a 7 day Mexican Riveria in 2010 just so I get a cruise in :rotfl2:

We are rebooking a mystery cruise for Halloween 2009 so vacation plans are looking up!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Cheryl - sorry BHC wasn't very good..Tori will make me take her anyways...I didn't gamble to much..came out without making to large of a deposit in the bank-o-RCCL.

Didn't solve the mystery but had a lot of fun trying. Several of the actors were the same from last year so we had fun catching up.

Have a great day!
