Please..............Do not discuss craft rooms when my John is around.:lmao: :lmao:

Did someone say they were cleaning out their craft room?

Finished my Christmas shopping today(Absolutely hate the malls after Thanksgiving - even bought my Christmas present - thought I would help Richard out :rotfl2: ) I did promise my Sister that I would go with her on Black Friday but am staying out of the way.

We leave on Wednesday for Arizona thru the 1st. Going to spend the Holiday with my Sis.

Hope everyone has a great week!

It sounds like y'all had a fun weekend! Ours was..boring! LOL! BUT, after themonths we've had I'll take boring!!! And the kids next show opens very soon!!

FINISHED!!!???? UGH! I am usually very close to finished by now... But, for some reason this year I am just not getting excited! I'm not coming up with any great ideas for anyone -- kwim?
Since I'm feeling that way Jon thinks we should only buy for the kids. Right now the only thing I KNOW I'm going to buy is a living room chair (or two) for my mom. She needs some new furniture.

BTW-- I love that you are *helping* Richard with your gift! LOL!

Have fun at your sister's house!

Just passing through ta say hello!

Hope everyone is well...

We just had a birthday party for our little one - it was a busy production...

Aside from that... all is well here... more or less.

Have a great THANKSGIVNG week everyone!

I'll take a moment to read backwards from here ta catch up on things a bit....

Birthday parties are such fun! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! If I close my eyes I can see her on the kids club stage right now!!! :goodvibes

Ihope you and yours have a wonderful week!

Hi Tom!

Well those are some excellent savings! Thanks for posting them! Too bad we can't take advantage, but I'm sure someone will find them useful!

Went to dinner last night with Mary Ann, Chrissie, Mike & families. It was very very nice & I think Mike will have some pictures to post. I just hope he photoshops mine first!

Are you near the fires? I hope you're not getting too much smoke!

Jealous.........

We had a great weekend, and made it home safely. We had been wanting to go to Salem for years, and we finally decided to make it up there. It was a fun day, and getting to share it with Chrissie, Mary Ann, Diane, and their families made it even better.

Here's a picture of the big kids after dinner.

Here you go Cheryl. Take your pick! Steamed or baked stuffed lobstah!

OMG!! Personally I like them broiled with breadcrumbs toasted. My DM took us to dinner last week when DS and I drove over to Sarasota. She turned 91 on the 8th. Took us for dinner at a Fish place and insisted I order the Lobster. It was boiled? The only reason I don't like it that way is all the water dripping out of it. :) But it was yummy. They also had a salad bar with smoked fishes etc.

Loved the witches pictures. You guys had a ball it looked like. I'm still jealous.

Went to the dr. today for my first Post-Op visit. Good news and bad news...
Good news, everything looks great and he's very pleased. Bad news, stitches are still in. I kinda figured 7 days would be too short a time.

They took 2 new x-rays. I was quite surprised at the way it looked. The plate that was put in, appears to be about 3" long and sits lengthwise up my wrist. I was expecting to see about 3-4 pins but to my surprise,I counted at least 8!

I have to go back again on Dec. 1st. Hopefully the stitches will come out then....would be a nice, early birthday gift.

Sounds like the same plate DM had put in back in Feb. I counted 8 screws in the xray they gave her. Glad it's healing well.

:dance3:  :dance3: :yay: :dance3:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Diane, Finally. I have no self motivation lately so I know how hard it may have been.

If you're the praying kind we could use lots of prayers here...My brother isn't doing too well yesterday or today. He had to go in this morning for several different types of IV's. And he still may need to be hospitalized.
I brought him to my house after his treatment this morning -- his s/o had clients all day. And to be honest even if he had been home he is not a *caregiver* type, he can't think outside himself. :sad1: We know he isn't trying to be uncaring but, he is. kwim?

Thank you very much!

Oh, Steph...Prayers coming your way  . I hope they can get a handle on whatever the issue is and your brother can continue on with his treatment.

Please give updates on how he is doing.

Thanks for the prayers & hugs!
This morning he is doing much better - he actually ate a piece of toast and a little scrambled egg! I just hope it lasts. I don'thow many days it had been since he could eat more then a cracker or two. He is finally rehydrated. I've kept him stocked with juice & Gatorade. ;)

He still can't be up for longer then a few minutes without laying down. I know it is much easier for him, to get the rest he needs, here at my house.
I am just glad this is a weekend when there is nothing going on for us! If this had happened next weekend I wouldn't have been able to help much -- the kids are in a community theater play that opens on Friday.

By the end of the weekend I will be better at givng injections, also. ;) This was the first time I've ever had to give someone else a shot -- I've given myself many (insulin) but, never someone else. Claire (7dd) thought she was going to want to watch but, she changed her mind pretty quick! LOL!

DH's biggest fear is that one of us may have germs that we will pass on to DB. Which is why for the most part I am the only one doing things for him.

On a happy note....The kids put up their Christmas tree yesterday. :goodvibes It looks good -- it's in our *Juliet balconey*. It is definitly a tree decorated by kids! My MIL had quite a few old Disney ornaments that they used on the tree. When we get our decorations out today I'll let them use our ornaments, also. Since our main tree is probably going to have to be *themed*.

DH isn't happy with the tree I picked out -- it is *only* 9ft tall (he wanted a 12 -15' tree) BUT, the bottom is 6' across that shoud be big enough for him! LOL! 17dd & I are the ones that decorate the tree and we didn't want to decorate a tree larger then 9'!

Steph, just got back from spending a few nights in NH, but just wanted to send good thoughts for DB & I'm glad to see he is doing a little better. I hope he continues to improve!
