Still keeping my fingers crosses for you. My DSIL lost his job yesterday. My DD did not work but she might have to go for something. Unemployment will not pay enough for four mouths to feed!!



I could totally see Zack playing the son of Elizabeth.!!!!!!!!!

Now Will and Elizabeth's son I could live with that. My friends and I were speculating him being Jack's son and that just didn't sound good.

My 10ds knew who Aly & AJ were/are! LOL! They are blond and they are pretty....he knows who they are....

Actually..I took pretty much this last year off and now I need to get serious about it and start getting some jobs...so I can take a 2 week vacation in August!

If nothing else..I get to be an official pollworker and work the election on Tuesday. That should cover a couple of drinks at Jellyrolls.

I have several friends that work the elections! FUN!

Tori wants nothing to do with any of it..she has never seen the first one. On the ship..they had a Camp Rock night and she actually paged us to get her out of the club!

All of my kids like those types of movies -- they take after their mom! Our youngest 4 kids have all been *Theater* kids. I'm not sure oldest DS would have enjoyed thema s much -- although....he has always liked pretty girls, too!

I had to do the demographics and there was just as many boy teens as their were girl teens. I was surprised!!

You will usually find boys wherever there are girls....

Took my 5-year old granddaughter there last Saturday at Downtown Disney. She loved it. I didn't mind it at all. Which is more than I can say for some of the movies the little ones have "convinced" me they "had" to see. It was a great afternoon. It is so nice to be able to have that one-on-one time. We capped it off with lunch at Earl of Sandwich and Ghiradelli's. They just went back yesterday but I miss them already.

It sounds like y'all had a wonderful day. One of my brothers and I think we have both *paid our dues* of watching bad *kid* movies.... I say that *Spy Kids 3* was the worst movie ever and he says that since he took his dd to see the Spice Girls movie that he wins. I still think that those were 2 of the worst movies ever made.....

Linda volunteered to take Hailey and a few of her firends this weekend. I didn't mind the first 2, but I'll take my "Get Out of Jail Free" pass and not go see it in the theater.

Morning all! Aonther dull gray day here.

It was last Saturday. I took my time and carefully answered each question and I was still the first one finished in both sessions! They said it would take 2-3 weeks to get the results, then we would be placed in a pool of qualified applicants. They did not make it seem like there was a current position open right now though, so we'll see. My brother thinks that they wouldn't have gone through with the testing if there wasn't a need for more people.

Being that I do civil service tests, sometime when we anticipate a future need we start recruiting. Last week I had to give a promotional clerical exam and since I don't monitor my own exams to much, I was praying that the computers didn't do anything wacky! Thankfully everthing went well.

Cheryl that stinks! Hoping your DSIL finds something soon. I know the most you can get here in MI per week is $363! Don't know how you could live on that.

Hey all, with Halloween coming tomorrow - I received this from my SIL who works in Costco. Not sure if its nationwide but thought I'd pass on:

BTW, I checked as I didn't want to get caught believing something and according to snopes - its true. Please be aware and inform others. Better to be safe than sorry. Thank God I got mine from Target - I usually do Sam's or Costco.

There is a new warning put out by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency....

Sherwood brand Pirate ' s Gold Milk Chocolate coins are being recalled due to the fact that they contain Melamine, the ingredient in milk product that has caused many infant deaths in china. These candies are sold at Costco, as well as many bulk and dollar stores. please make sure to check your children¢s Halloween candy and DO NOT LET T HEM EA T THE PIRATE COINS (you know the ones wrapped in the shiny gold foil) and please let other parents know about this!

Happy Halloween to everyone! Tori is busy carving her pumpkin..she chose this really difficult design and has been at it for about an hour and still about half way to go! She is having fun so that's all that matters..me? I have the difficult job of roasting the seeds

We have a field trip tomorrow of the Los Angeles Port..we are taking a tour of the harbor and they are going by the cruise terminal going to make me miss everyone more!

Hope everyone is having a fun day. We had a pot luck at work and now I'm really full. Taking Kaitlin out for T or T tonight in the neighborhood. We have very nice weather today. We carved our pumpkins last night on the porch and it was pleasant.

I was going to put our Jack o Lanterns up but, I forgot that when dh moved around the computers (ie:he got a new one and the rest of us rotated) the one that I was left with doesn't have a card slot!!!! UUGGHHH!!! When I pointed that out to him a couple of days ago he offered to buy me a new computer (he knew I wouldn't go for that! LOL!). He told me to at least let him buy me a new monitor (his is a 24' or so and mine is about a 20" or so).

4 of our kids did pumkins last night (28ds came over and wanted to do them with the kids). He is going to be in PA this weekend (his girlfriend lives out side Philadelphia) so, he is going to miss T or Ting with them. 25dd is coming over in a little bit to go with the kids.

Claire is driving us insane -- she wants to go out NOW. She has been in her Cinderella costume since about 1.......
