Tom, we have a picture of you (I don't think I posted it to Smugmug...but, I might have!) that makes Jon laugh everytime he sees it! He took it on Mexican Fiesta night and it is of you dancing and singing. I was busy dancing and hadn't notice you walking by singing...dh did notice....you then started dancing while singing....it was the highlight of Jon' evening.
Jon is REALLY quiet and somewhat shy...but, he really enjoys meeting nice, outgoing people. And he really enjoyed the fact that you could *do that*.

It has taken Jon years to stop being embarrassed by me and what I do and say.

I know! I'm trying to get better about cooking. I make pork chops with stewed tomatoes and mashed potatoes yesterday. Went grocery shopping and got an urge for pork chops! It really is so much easier to go up on deck 9 and get something! Oh no, I have no deck 9!

Claire ate so much more when she had Deck 9 to go to!!!! Her daddy took her up to get fries, pizza & Ice cream at least 2 or 3 times a day! And sadly...yes...that is about all she ate the entire trip! But, volume wise it was more then she has ever eaten in a day at home!

BTW....if during the Winter months any of you get the itch to come this way...You are more then welcome to stay with us!
Even on the days it gets cold here (and there are never very many cold days) it is usually still very sunny.

Hi everyone!

Happy Belated Birthday Mary Ann!

Crazy busy weekend here....Tori had her Halloween party over the weekend..will post a picture later. Had a group of friends over and everyone was looking thru the pictures and video we have from the trip..made me sad all over again. Had to work yesterday but that was good in a way! Gotta earn some income.

We are off in an hour or so to Tori's book club meeting. I get 2 hours of relative peace and quiet to myself and a good book of my own! It has been so hot here..90s everyday over the weekend..for Friday night it will probably get cold..figures!

Actually..I took pretty much this last year off and now I need to get serious about it and start getting some jobs...so I can take a 2 week vacation in August!

If nothing else..I get to be an official pollworker and work the election on Tuesday. That should cover a couple of drinks at Jellyrolls.

Tori wants nothing to do with any of it..she has never seen the first one. On the ship..they had a Camp Rock night and she actually paged us to get her out of the club!

Oddly enough, Kaitlin hasn't been bouncing off the walls to go see HSM3 yet. She was busy all day Sat with her choir workshop and Sunday we could of gone but I needed to get stuff done. Our local theater was showing Kit Kittridge for free for kids this weekend and she probably would of wanted to go see that. She is more excited about Tinkerbell coming out!

I had to do the demographics and there was just as many boy teens as their were girl teens. I was surprised!!

Took my 5-year old granddaughter there last Saturday at Downtown Disney. She loved it. I didn't mind it at all. Which is more than I can say for some of the movies the little ones have "convinced" me they "had" to see. It was a great afternoon. It is so nice to be able to have that one-on-one time. We capped it off with lunch at Earl of Sandwich and Ghiradelli's. They just went back yesterday but I miss them already.

It was last Saturday. I took my time and carefully answered each question and I was still the first one finished in both sessions! They said it would take 2-3 weeks to get the results, then we would be placed in a pool of qualified applicants. They did not make it seem like there was a current position open right now though, so we'll see. My brother thinks that they wouldn't have gone through with the testing if there wasn't a need for more people.

Linda volunteered to take Hailey and a few of her firends this weekend. I didn't mind the first 2, but I'll take my "Get Out of Jail Free" pass and not go see it in the theater.

Still keeping my fingers crosses for you. My DSIL lost his job yesterday. My DD did not work but she might have to go for something. Unemployment will not pay enough for four mouths to feed!!
