Hey peeps! We're back from Expedition Everest Challenge!
WARNING - Long-winded trip report coming...

We had a great long weekend at WDW.


It was a great trip…I was on vacation…now I’m just unemployed…

Hmmm doesn't look too long to me? Sorry I did a bit of editing for content length, but glad you had a fun weekend M!

I'm going to say Happy Anniversary & Birthday now, because we leave on the 8th for WDW!

Desiree I mentioned this on the 8/17 thread but in case you missed it...there is a poll on the Pirate website & so far that week appears to be winning. Looks like we might do a short extended family RCCL cruise Aug. 14-17 so we will plan to be in WDW 17-22.

Now that the White Sox are in the playoffs, and the Cubs also, i'll be a little busy. First time in 102 years both Chicago teams are in the playoffs at the same time. If it comes down to both teams in the series,,GO WHITE SOX

I think so!!! It's highly unlikely, but if they both end up in the World Series, I fully expect to see pigs flying around also

Even weirder, DAN actually sat and watched the sox game last night. He is usually pretty uninterested in sports on TV and I can't remember the last time he watched a baseball game. He grew up south of Chicago, so he prefers the sox to the cubs. I grew up west of the city, so I don't have a built-in affiliation!

At least I saw them win The World Series in my life time...........some cub fans could not say the same.

I would love to see pigs fly!! The only reason I became a sox fan many years ago because both my parents were die-hard Cubs fans. I was always a little rebellious. Tell Dan I always knew there was a reason I liked him.
