I can sum it up in two words "awesome" and "lousy". Awesome was for everything except the weather. That was lousy, but we had a great time anyway!
A slightly more detailed
report will follow, but here's the basics:
Participants - Me, trip organizer and planner. DH, previous WDW guest (25+ visits) who has finally "gotten the magic". DFIL, on his first vacation anywhere ever in his life.
Quick resort summary: 12/3 All Star Music--great!
12/4 Port Orleans Riverside, Oak Manor--great!
12/5 - 12/8 Dolphin - not as great as the others, but good.
12/8 - 12/12 Disney Wonder - awesome as always
12/12 - 12/14 PO Riverside, Alligator Bayou, Bldg. 17-- great!
Magic Kingdom--no crowds, lots of fun! Saw Spectro Magic, Christmas Parade (12/7 - 7 PM), Fireworks (even saw Tinkerbell fly down!), Share A Dream Come True Parade
Disney MGM Studios - FIL loved New York Street. He grew up in New York in the 20's and 30's. Osbourne Lights--incredible.
Animal Kingom - I love this place, especially the tigers. Had a great Safari driver!
Epcot - My favorite place at WDW. Saw the Christmas Tree lighting, Masquerade in Italy, acrobats in France, belly dancer in Morocco, American Vibe and American Voices at the American Adventure, rode El Rio Del Tiempo in Mexico (still love it after all these years), walked onto Space Ship Earth, got positively drenched by rain, saw Illluminations.
