Still giggling here. Okay need some more coffee before my typing fingers work properly.

Laughter is good for the soul and the body. Glad I could brighten your Memorial Day. Hope everyone's is going well. We are on our way to Six Flags.

As for needing the coffee, I did the last post last night and it took me forever to type it since I had taken a painkiller for the migraine I was having. Know exactly what you mean.....

At least you two have excuses. Me? I'm just slow:confused3 My fingers seem to be going faster than my brain these days.:rotfl2:

I also hope everyone is having a nice Memorial Day. I think I'll take the girls to the mall this afternoon. Lindsey needs a new swim suit, and a couple unmentionables.

Hey, anybody notice we got some new smilies? these guys?::yes:: :moped: :smokin: :offtopic: :faint: :badpc: :bitelip: :hyper: :stir: :duck: :listen: :worried: and my personal favorite:furious: He's so cute when he's mad:rotfl2:

Okay, so I'm not a huge shopping fan. Perhaps my woman card should be taken away. However, I am excited about shopping for this trip. I was wondering if, since our cruise is a Christmas sailing, I suppose I should buy any warmer weather/tropical/swimming attire that we may need now. Is that correct? Or do you guys have sources.....;)

I am hesitant to buy myself much since I am working hard on being smaller by the time we go.....And buying everything now is a pain when you are buying things for summer camp x3, one of which includes DS's first weeklong Boy Scout camp. Requires different gear than Cub Scouts, you know.

I knew I read this, but got so caught up in the surgery chat that I forgot to answer it. It can be chilly in the mornings and evenings during the first night. Also if I remember correctly, the public areas inside the ship were chilly at times. I would say lightweight jeans/slacks and a light jacket/sweater the evenings would be a good idea. Shorts and t-shirts for day wear. I bring one pair of black slacks, and one pair Khakis per person. This will get us through dinner on a 7 day cruise by mixing and matching tops. I do the same with shorts. I'm going to have to really scale down more with the airlines charging for that 2nd checked bag. :furious: (just had to use that smilie):lmao:
As for shopping. Most of the cute summer clothes, and swim suits will not be available in stores by the time we will be needing them. I usually shop online for swimsuits. I'll dig up some links and pm them to you later.

Bloody hell! I live on an army post and as of noon, we are on our second 21 gun salute of the day. Except this is an artillery post, so they are firing bloody cannons! The baby is trying to sleep and the *@#$&* house is shaking on its foundation. :furious:

In other news, our cruise is now sold down to a handfull of Cats. 9,10,11 and slightly more than a handfull of Cat 5. Guess all those government tax rebate checks got put to good use last week after all. The New Year's cruise is sold out except for Cat 10.

Hoping you are having a nice weekend! Business as usual around here. We had Victoria Day long weekend last weeKend. It has been raining her 24 hour flippin hours a day for 7 days straight here!

I'm sorry:hug: Hopefully, they are finished and the baby got her nap. I hate it when they are firing on the east range. Our windows rattle in the frame for days at a time. I can only imagine how bad it must be on post:scared1:

So much for our families having run of the ship.Guess we'll just have to share. Hopefully we will get a few more families join us here as we get closer.

I know how depressing it can be to have rain 24/7 a week straight. We had something like that last year. Our lawn was a swamp for weeks. Hope it stops soon.

The carpet installers are coming tomorrow. Dh decided to NOT pay anyone to remove and dispose of the old carpet. Guess what we did all day yesterday???:rolleyes1 We had all three kids pulling staples! Today I dusted off my resume and polished it up. The youngest starts Grade 1 in September so I am going back to work p/t. My piercing is healing nice except I woke up with a shiner this morn! I really look scary now! I am going for my tattoo consultation on Saturday. I have two tattoos already. I am keeping it a secret until it is done...and yes it is Disney related.:goodvibes The other two including this one can be hidden easily if necessary and then my mid life crisis is officially over:lmao:

So here is my wife's main question... She's pregnant now due in July. The appropriate cruisewear is in the stores now but she is unsure what size to buy for herself. Of course, little man will be a little over 5 months so we're also trying to figure out do we get him size 3-6 or 6-9. :confused3

I say 6-9. My son was consistantly at the 25th percentile and it seems he always needed the size above his age. As far as your wife, I am sure she has heard that women all lose the baby weight differently. After the first, I was pretty much back to my pre-pregnancy weight five months after the birth with nursing and moderate activity, but I was up a dress/pants size and have stayed there. Pregnancy seems to have permanantly added a couple of inches to my waist, but I haven't given a major emphasis to getting rid of them either.

I also meant to tell you that Disney's ground transpo is quite overpriced (though you're stuck with it if they booked you're airfare). It was cheaper for us to reserve Towncar service (seriously!!!). For an extra 10 bucks he stopped at Publix, so we didn't have to risk baby stuff exploding in our luggage. Although AndymanGA... maybe means you live in GA??? We lived in Columbus in 2001-2002 and just drove to WDW.

Nope... I was just consulting the manual here and it says that you can't say that until you get one of those ultra-short, bleach blonde, spiked with lots of hair gel hairdos.

Hmmm... I wonder how my midlife crisis will manifest itself... maybe I'll get a Harley and a fair haired pool boy. :moped:

Hi Andyman:wave2:
Babies grow so very fast,I would probably go with the 6 to 9 months. Better a little big than a little too small. All us girls here can relate to your DW delimma. I know I am working on losing weight. If the selection isn't in the stores,I wouldn't worry to much. Speaking from experience, there is always plenty online. The good thing is it's a 4 night cruise,so we won't need to purchase alot. :thumbsup2

Hi Brenda-

Thank Val for the tonsils info for me. I am trying not to worry myself, and my in-laws are driving over to help with the baby so that I can focus on him and the surgery. The doc told him that his voice would probably be deeper after the surgery, so he's afraid he's going to have a grown-up "daddy" voice.

What a way to spend a holiday weekend:lmao: Good luck re-entering the work force.

I had planned on doing that this year. Turned down a really great job offer. DH and I decided it isn't such a good idea to go back to work leaving two teenagers to their own divices all summer. I know people do it all the time, but I have been at home with them for 15 1/2 yerars. They aren't used to being home 8 hrs a day. I'm sure they wouldn't mind, but There is just too much trouble they could get into. Besides, Lindsey would need to get to and from dance and swim. Guess my resume will remain in moth balls till they graduate::yes::

awww poor little guy. Tell him it may be a little deeper, but it won't be a grown up 'daddy voice'. It's great your inlaws are able to help out. Val needs no thanks. She loves helping people, and is very good at putting people at ease. I will pass on your thanks to her tomorrow. If there is anything at all we can do to help next week, just let us know. :thumbsup2

I'm still working on a pool boy. So far all I have been able to manage is a pot bellied balding middle aged pool boy. Not exactly what I was hoping for:rotfl2: But all that Lawton has to offer:confused3

AndymanGA, I would definitely go with the other ladies in saying to get the 6-9 month clothes. However I would also say that it depends on what size baby you start with! If he is 6 or 7 pounds I would say it should be fine. If he is 8, 9, or larger you might want to go with the 9-12. You guys should have a good idea of how big he is already through the doctor's estimations.

As for DW that is a hard one. Like Adrianna said, I was down to pre-pregnancy size within a couple of months of having my first and I gained right around 30 during the pregnancy. And I didn't nurse or have a lot of activity. The second one....well he is currently 11 years old and I still have a bit of the weight I am fighting. My body doesn't understand that it won't be carrying anymore babies!

:lmao: Me too. Don't know about the fair haired part though. I always pictured myself with an Italian or Spanish speaking tan skinned, dark haired, with light blue green striking hazel eyes and a nice chest cabana boy that keeps both of my hands full with tasty frozen beverages. Oh my dreams tonight will be good....:bitelip:

Where can I get the manual? I wasn't supplied one.....
