12/20/07 Christmas Cruise 2007 (Updated DIS cruisers list)

Hi everyone,
Well, I have as much packed as I can. Just have to wait for the last minute things. I have one small suitcase with just Christmas decorations--tree, window clings, stockings, garland, etc. We leave on Friday and are staying at the Country Inn and Suites. Anyone else staying there?

I have a busy week ahead. Christmas concert tonight (and it is snowing like crazy here in northeast Ohio!), DD haircut on Monday, both DS haircut on Thursday, small party on Wednesday. Oh, and I scheduled a manicure and pedicure for DD and myself for Thursday. Can you believe I have never had one before?! In between that, I want to clean the house really good. I like to come home to a clean house!

My DD and I will have on our "string of lights" necklaces (that actually light up) on embarkation day. Say hi if you see us!

Party was good! Three broken glasses bad I was cleaning up this morning (again) and found more glass in the carpet! DH not feeling so good Off to go pick up DD at Grandma's house. Have a great day everyone!

Started packing this past weekend. So ready to get on that plane and head east Friday morning.

Our last Disney Cruise was our most relaxing vacation and we are so excited about sharing this one with others. SIL and my Mom have called daily over the past week with questions and pure excitement. Can't wait to meet up with everyone in Orlando Friday evening.

DD's are excited because they get to hang out in the Teen Club this time around. Me, I hear a deck chair calling my name. Also looking forward to some fun in the sun.

No I'm not on this trip but I was on the Dec 1st - 8th Western..
During this trip I and DD had a few apple jack martini's at the Rocken Bar D or Rocken D Bar ( maby we had more than a few to many) she seem to like them but we forgot one major issue (What is in a apple jack martini??)

Will someone with internet please send the fixins for an Apple Jack Martini..

I'm sat looking out of my hotel window, and I can just see the smoke stacks of the Disney Magic. Should be heading down there in an hour. DS7 is watching the Disney buses.

We surprised DS7, sent him an invite from Mickey. I gave it to him when I picked him up from school. He was super excited. Bit worried he wouldn't be, as it's Christmas.

Weather is a bit breezy, but should get a bit warmer later.

Christmas Eve, I'm sat in my stateroom. Great trip so far. I even saw some of Holly's family and their orange t-shirts, too shy to say hi though!!

We are back, too! Now if my house will just stop rocking--how long does it take to get your land legs back?

Came back to 5 inches of snow atop our car at the airport - that was after my DH spent 15 minutes trying to FIND our car in the land of snow covered vehicle-shaped bumps. I have to admit, it looked like Christmas and that was nice.

Will try to write a little report later this week. Still processing it all in my head - what a wonderful trip. DH is already talking about going back in summer 2009.

Back from the trip. we drove to FL, so we spend Saturday night at my parents house near Orlando and started the drive home on Sunday. Had a blast and trying to figure out when we will go again.
