12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise Part 3

Morning, everyone soon to wake up!

I'm still looking for my ornament but have some ideas about where to get one...hope it works out...I've looked in a couple of touristy stores, but the problem is they have standard stuff and don't always carry ornaments.

Like I said, I have some ideas....hope to take care of it while MIL is here and we're sporting her around....

other than that, same old stuff today...DS16 is staying home sick. I don't think he's that bad...he said he wasn't himself last night, but seemed fine when scrapping with his brothers...then I guess he didn't sleep well. I wanted him to tough it out, but it is his decision. He's pretty responsible and gets great grades, so....

Luckily his staying home doesn't change my day....I might swing by and get him lunch or something, but he just sleeps anyhow...

Looks to be a typical Friday here. Work, etc. SIL is working so we have Mom this evening. I think we are going to see HAPPY FEET tomorrow. I am going more for the Harry Potter trailer than for the movie .

Good Morning Everyone,
Can't stay just turned on my comp about 15 minutes ago and need to get the kids ready for school....

Hope you all have a"GREAT" day and those of you that are all wet,dry out!!!

Anyone that has been sick .gets better..and that also goes for the Dh,Ds,Ds...

The day here will be 80 degrees again and about 45 tonight. Bu we remain dry.

Cleaning to do today, Dh heading off to Vegas to have fun with 9 of his friends..he does not gambel but he likes the nickle slots...they are fun and can play forever on them.Branden having friends over and Michael is going to cook dinner...

So that is part of my day...it swill be GREAT and will try to catch you all later...

Hi everyone!

Busy running around today....man, am I glad it is Friday! Except that I get to spend the entire weekend getting ready for MIL...you should see my office! It is my staging area for Christmas cards, Christmas gifts, things related to the cruise, and other projects. It's a disaster! Every time I come in here to work on it, I end up DIS-ing...kinda like now!

Sounds like everyone is busy with their stuff right now! Kat, Kev and I want to see Happy Feet, but I don't know if we'll get to it this weekend...I'm not sure if the other family members do. My MIL has already decided we're going to James Bond while she is here. Dave and the boys are happy, I could care less, but that's kinda how things go when she is around, I become invisible although I am expected to cook, clean, and be present for all events. Can you tell how much I'm looking forward to this?

Sounds like my MIL except she tends to cry when she sees me - I don't see why she can't get over it yet - we have been married since 1983!!!! We're together, live with it

Yeah, it really annoys the kids. they think it is very melodramatic. I just ignore.

They get so tired of hearing all her woes becasue her son would have been a lawyer and gone to grad school if it wasn't for me. What a joke. He could have done anything he wanted - I wasn't preg. Lexi (our 1st) wasn't born until after the 7 years of marriage. She just hates the fact that her dreams were not her sons.

Good afternoon all....what's up with everybody? I think i might go see Casino Royale this weekend. I am very nervous about the new guy playing James Bond...but the movie got good ratings (though those don't count from anything because both POTC movies did bad with the critics lol)

Jen, you'll have to tell me how the movie is...I posted a minute ago, my MIL has decided we'll be going next week. My boys think the Bond will be good--a little darker, less pretty-boy.
