Hey Jen

I am still here!!

Been posting on that "celeb" board and trying to get people interested in a DIS donation board. I think that would be so cool -ie the mods could choose a charity or the celebs that people could donate to if they wished or they could pick several charities or send a family who otherwise could not afford to Disney World.

i'm talking with steve...things are still confusing but less than yesterday

Try to get some sleep Jen.

I am turning in - it's pumpkin time

Good night all

Denise

I was helping my ds with his project...but would have rather been playing...See you all in the morning...nighty night...all

Good morning Christmas cruisers! Another day closer! :woohoo:
And it's Halloween :darth: . :stir: What fun.

Has anyone heard from Dee?

Happy Halloween Fellow Cruisers

No have not heard from Dee. I hope everthing is OK with her.

I got my shirts yesterday and they look great, but definately go up on the size. I got the t-shirt with red and black sleeve (short, short sleeve) and got Julia a reg t-shirt. Julia's is more true to size, but still runs small.

Again, great job Jen & Dee. Two casual shirts all set to pack.

The other day I a did pretty good clothes shopping. It's one of those days where you hit it just right. There add'l 25% off things already reduced like 75%. They were making way for all the heavy winter wear coming in so my timing couldn't have been more perfect.

I think someone asked a few pages back about formal nights. Last time they has two Formal and one Semi-Formal Dinners.

Morning guys! :wave2:

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! :woohoo: My family (well some of them) woke up pretty excited. 4th grader is trick or treating tonight, 4 friends are coming over to do it with him. 13 year old will disappear with friends for trick or treating and general walking around being cool. Thing is, he doesn't have a costume--said he'll "come up with something" after school. Glad homework isn't the only thing he procrastinates on!

Jen, keep us posted on the shuttle launch. It would be nice to see it from sea too.... Those who will be in Orlando may be able to see it if it is a night launch. One time we were at WDW and they did a 4 am launch. People got up and said they could see it. (I had to take their word for it. We had little ones, and with them you get your sleep when you can!)

Good Morning... I'm on and off the boards. Of to work/school dressed like a shiny pink beached whale (for those who can't tell - I mean princess). DD16 home sick today, first sick day in 2 year, if she says she is sick then I believe her. princess:

I'm off to warm up my car. Really cold for us - in the 2os.

Have a great day!

Sorry DD is sick. ...at least she's a little old for trick-or-treating--that would be devastating!

Here's some pixie dust to help her get better! pixiedust:

I've got to get off these boards and go work out so I can raid my kids' candy tonight!

.

So yours ran a little small too? Glad it wasn't just me! :thumbsup2 You'll see me in it early on the cruise, 'cause by the end it might be too tight! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Morning Holly!

I'm off guys!

Morning all!

Hey Holly! How are you and your sister doing? We haven't seen much of you lately!

The more I look at the shirt I did for myself the more I am seriously considering ordering one. And the Mickey I did on the front looks awful :(. I'm not even sure if I am going to one. Has anyone successfully put a Mickey on the front yet????

It is pouring here today. Hopefully it will stop by this evening so the kidlets can go out and trick-or-treat.

Isn't the idea to wear them when we board so we can find each other more easily? :confused3 I was planning on wearing mine when we board.

Susan, hope your DD feels better. EVERYONE around here is sick. Whatever I have won't go away. I am just sick of being sick.

Sherrena - No, it is definately not just yours. I take a 12 top and I ordered a X-Lg (which should run about 14/16) and this thing is a little too clingy. I am not going to wash it b-4 wearing since I do not think I will be comfortable in it if it shrinks, even by a tiny bit.

Kat- I bought mine and Julia's to wear throughout the cruise. They really are great tops. The design looks awesome on it. Speaking of the meet - what are we doing???????????

Morning everyone, who's dressing up for Halloween tonight? I'm trying to decided if I want to or not. DH out of town, both boys working and DD is going out with friends... will I look like a total dork dressed as Winnie the Pooh?

Sorry to hear your DD is sick, bad day to not feel well. Maybe she can hand out the candy and still have some fun with it.

I'm puttering today. Not sure if I want to go out and check out this ceramic chicken a friend told me about. My kitchen is done in chickens. It's really cute, saw one at her house, but I just don't feel like driving any where.

Ops, dog needs to go do her business.

I'm sure in town there are a bunch of great holes in the wall but we suburbanites don't know them...the holes in the wall I know of are WAYyyyy out here where I live. Alpharetta/Cumming area.

One of the best holes-in-the-wall is Nuevo Laredo Cantina off Collier near Howell Mill on I-75. Pappasito's (a chain) off Jimmy Carter Blvd. used to be good. I used to like La Paz (but there is one of those in downtown Asheville).

That area is beautiful, the smokies are so pretty. Of course, we don't get there often. When we get away, we mostly head toward the :beach:

That was one of the best parts about living in Atlanta. A few hours from the Smokies, a few hours from the beach. [and only a 9-hour drive to WDW]

I usually get the X-Lg because I prefer mine loose, usually wear a 12 too. I hope it isn't too clingy on me! Maybe I should look for another white t-shirt around here and try the other type of iron-ons first. :confused3

Yes, I will likely wear mine more than once, but aren't we going to wear them first on Saturday for boarding?

For the meet who knows?? I don't know how likely it would be that everyone would be on board by 3:00 or not. If so, we could do it then, before the lifeboat drill. Otherwise we could still try for the sailaway, or later in the evening, after the late dinner seating. Anyone else have any suggestions?? If we did it later we could gather up on deck 9 or 10 and there would likely be fewer people.

Not to rain on your parade but I can beat that...Best thing about living in SanDiego...is
40 minutes to snow...mountains all around,20 minutes to the beach, 1 1/2 hrs to DisneyLand,20 minutes to SeaWorld,20 minutes to the SanDiego Zoo, 40 minutes to the SanDiego Wild Animal Park, 40 minutes to Mexican Border,
1 1/2 hrs to MGM/Universal Studios, 20 minutes to Downtown(city)SanDiegos famouse Gaslamp district..and on and on and on.

SanDiego Rocks.... :rotfl2: But cant beat the Smokies.... :thumbsup2
