Unfortunately I have no clue how to do that - my dh set it up for me.

OK random question, how do you do the ticker at the bottom of your post. I have figured out how to do the ticker factory link but mine seems to have the link but not the cute graphics at the bottom of each post. This is driving my kids nuts!!!! They want to see the countdown, they are so excited about the holiday cruise. Can't wait to see you all.

I clicked on the icon for ticker factory but I can't seem to make it do that cute countdown ticker that everyone has. My kids are so excited about the holiday cruise that they are watching other peoples vacation videos on YouTube (quite entertaining). We are trying to decide about excursions, I don't want to be over scheduled just go with the flow, but what are some good choices. We have only done the 4 day cruise so this is all new to us.

How old are your kids??

There are so many options around excursions, however it really depends largely on what your interests are, how old your children are and whether or not the kids are going with you on the excursion.

There are a lot of water based excursions (which I am not into - don't like my hair to get wet) , there's a butterfly conservatory at Key West, and island tours and of course SHOPPING - YEAH.

There is also another thread for latency age and older children going on the cruise.

My dd's are 8 & 4 and my dd 8 has been chatting back and forth with two very nice little girls via e-mail.

My dh said you need to go to the tickerfactory.com but the steps are in the technical help forum. There is a step by step guide in there and he followed that.

Also, we have made a paper link chain that the children made with construction paper and everyday we cut off a link. They love that.

I just saw that wow! Yes - kind of funny that side of DH family is Norweigan. Very Norweigan! So they had viking hats and there was like 50 of us there. A mexican with horns sticks out like a sore thumb.

My favorite food is Mexican food..I just love it. Living here in SanDiego I have mexican food at every corner and the Mexican border is only 25 minutes away. "Yea Me"

My Dh family (on Dads side)is also Norweigen...We have hats that have horns on them..so does my ds...lol.. also from Scotland that is where the Campbell comes from ...his Moms great Grand mother was 100% Lenapee Indian.

My ansesters came over on the May Flower and the Journey on Moms side and my Grandfather came over through Ellis Island from Germany n my dads
side.

So why do I Love Mexican so much? it is a mystery

Emmyjules just click on the link and it will tell you the rest when you get there. You have to join but it doesn't cost anything and doesn't take that long. Denise, thanks so much. I will check back into ticker factory, of course with work I will probably look into it in about 3 weeks. Ha. Anyway my kids are DD is 13 (just turned in Sept) so she is teetering on the whole club no club thing, and while she has always LOVED being in the clubs I am not so sure I enjoy her being with say 17 year olds. So we really don't know how we will handle that (anyone with that age girl, PLEASE HELP). She is very outgoing and loves to meet kids from other places. Our DS is 9 and all boy so he has no problem adjusting to where he is, he is happy wherever. You all are so wonderful I can't wait till Dec.

Hi emmyjules... We have a thread for 12 and under have you been givin that yet? there is also a Teen thread have you been given that yet?

There are lots of boys ages 9 and 10 on that thread....my ds is 9 but will be 10 Nov 21. My other ds is 12 soon to be 13 in Jan. They are all planing to do lots todgether and also a big movie day. If you dont have the thread info I can bring it to you?

I think I have chatted with you in the past but between getting ready for 10 days away, work ( I am a hair stylist) and kids activities I am trying to keep afloat. No pun intended. Do you think we should have excursions planned? I feel like if the kids are set then if all I do is chill out, I am ok. Thanks.

Here is the thread for 12 and under and our kids are using our post names..my son Michael is "Got Dissney" but he referes to himself as "Hi it's Michael
