My goodness you girls are some night owls!

Let me be the first to officially say "Two Months from Today we Sail Away!"

Thanks to all of you for sharing the sign stuff. I'll look at it later and be back with questions, I'm sure....

I got the sign posted on Angela's Yahoo group for the cruise! So if you are able to access that you can go to the Photos link on the left side of the page where you will see two photo albums. One is Angela's for the Life ring door sign, the other is the one I did. Let me know what you think and if we want to go with it to put on our doors. Also if you do, do you want your DIS name on the sign. If you want a larger view, click on the picture several times.

After I posted the sign I decided to change the background color and did a second one with a blue background instead of the red and added my DIS name to show where it might go. I then did a third one where I changed the location of the date and the DIS name and made Mickey a little smaller.

I actually prefer the blue to the red myself. So please check them out and let me know what you all think.When we have a consensus I can change the name and then email a copy to whoever wants one and everyone can print their own. I print mine on regular paper then use laminating sheets and will put magnetic strips on the back. You can also print them on magnetic paper if you prefer, my printer just doesn't seem to like the magnetic paper.

I think no matter which version, the sign is GREAT! If I have to vote, I liked the third one, blue with the name at the bottom.

Sun is coming up here--it's supposed to rain today, so it is GORGEOUS! Bright red clouds! Rain's a bummer, but we had a great weekend, so can't complain too much. Besides, we just put in flowers, what better time for rain?

I definately like the blue one. For some reason, I really like the one with the name down the side. Is it a different size font or something?

I agree, I like the name down the side. Yes, I'm still around, I just haven't had much to add.

I'm waiting to hear what about the tshirts...the design is excellent.

Thanks Jen! I got them posted on Angela's Yahoo site. I have two with blue backgrounds. On one I put the name down the side and on one I put it on the bottom. So far we have two votes for the name on the side and two votes for the name on the bottom. Any one else? Now to figure out how to make a post that allows for votes....

I like the Blue also ..however the Red is more Christmasie (is that a word?)
I think I will print both out and see if the red is to much. I will be having all christmas stuff on my door so the red would go but if we are all going to use the same sign then the blue is no problem. Also what about underlining DIS so it stands out as if part of the word DIScover...
I could not bring up the other photo ...it said that it was empty...showed "Fabulust" but no picture...did anyone see it?
I also like the print at the bottom

or do maybe DIS in a different color font?

I did the red originally because of the Christmas colors but then I got looking at it and with the DIS green it looked pretty gaudy when I printed it! Besides, the blue goes better with the ship. Just my opinion though.

Jen's vote makes three for the name down the side, two for the name on the bottom. And yes, I can underline DIS in DIScover. One thing about the name down the side, though. For those with longer names, the name will have to be in a smaller font going down the side because it takes up more space. They can all be the same font if they go across the bottom. I will try to do one with a longer name and post it this evening to show what I mean.

Jen, don't worry about a voting thing, I wasn't really serious.

Robin, is there a Cliff notes version of the Crazy Teenager Book?

I'm afraid my dilemnas are happening too fast for me to read. Got a call from DS14 earlier--calling from teacher's office to tell me that he got in trouble today for saying something immature. He wouldn't say right then what it was, but I'm guessing teacher wanted to insure that discussion was held at our home this evening. He's always been a bit of a but he must be thinking he is big stuff now that he's in 8th grade. (Our middle school is 6th, 7th and 8th grade.)

Can I tell you how much I'm looking forward to talking with him when he gets home?

Well apparently, I do not because I accidentally created and sent it as it just came to my inbox.
