Cast includes me, DH and DD 2.....
We had arrived to Pop the night before since we could not add a night on to our WL reservation.
We went to the "food court" here....DH had the adult chocolate chip pancakes, adult breakfast and a coffee....DD and I split a child's breakfast platter and a child's cchip pancakes, I had Sprite, DD had milk....overall, for breakfast, I like this place. It can get rushed early morning, but the food is pretty good and they take the Disney Dining card!! Did not save the receipt on this one, but before the 20% off it was around $20.
For lunch we wound up at the Garden Grill...we had 4 others joining us. I have been here prior, but it was a long time ago, as in when I was a child eating with parents. We had a PS but still ended up waiting about 15 min. For 6 adults, our waiter brought out one skillet and one plate of bread. The bread was ice cold as though it had just come from the fridge. Not really knowing what to expect I am not sure if this is the norm for the bread or not. The food was pretty blah....very very bland and not all that great. DH liked the stuffing, but wasn't thrilled with anything else. They brought DD complimentary chicken tenders and fries as well as worms in dirt. We were seated up on the second tier so we really couldn't take advantage of the rotating view. The character interaction was good....they came by and we took pics...they were sensitive to the fact that DD didn't really care for them, which I liked. Didn't save the receipt for this one either but it was over $130 before the 20% discount....I'm happy to say I tried it (as an adult on my own) but we won't be back there. Definite waste of money for the food.
For dinner we were originally going to eat in the CASTLE....but we checked into WL and rested and DD was a little overtired and I didn't want to push her so we ended up getting take out from Roaring Forks.....
I guess I was expecting a little more from the "fast food" area of the WL. Mara is set up much better....you have to place your hot order and then wait, quite a little bit, before it is ready. I had a cheesrburger and fries, DH had a chili dog and fries and DD shared ours. The food was so so, your average cafeteria food. I definitely prefer the value food courts over this one...simply for no wait times for your food. They also do not take the DDE card. The total was $15.68, we had drinks in our room.
