12/09 CRT Dinner Question

Has anyone managed to get an ADR for later than 4pm at CRT on 12/9? We are a party of 2 and they told me that is the only time they have. Just wondering if this is the only time slot they have released yet?

Historically the Magic Kingdom has closed at 6pm on some of these days so that may be the reason there are only early ADR's.

They only have a few tables for 2 in CRT. I got 4:45 on 12/8 for a party of 5. I would call back and ask another CM. From what CM told me they start serving dinner at 4PM.

Be happy you got 4 pm. That's a MVMCP night and lots of people will want to eat dinner in the MK before the party.

I just called at exactly 7 am at the 90 day mark for 12/6, and was told nothing was availble for dinner for a party of 2 at CRT. I hope to catch a cancellation. If not, it'll be CS for us.

Maybe if you try at the 90 day mark, you'll be able to get something later. My understanding is that they do not release all of the tables for the 90 +10 crowd. I don't think there are many tables for 2 at CRT.

You can also try calling at 7:00am on the 30th day out...It seems like more and later times are released...

We will be there in 10 days and when I called for CRT a few months ago they told me there was nothing available on any of the days we will be there. We are a party of two and they told me to try back later. I called back later to make another AR and inquired again about CRT. The CM I talked to was very nice and told me that he didn't have anything for a party of 2 but he did have a table for a party of 3. I told him that we only had 2 people though and he just said again that he had an opening for a party of 3. So I asked him if I could book that even though there are only 2 of us and he said of course. I asked him what do I do when we show up and are only a party of 2 and he said that many people make reservations and then one person will decide not to go to dinner that night so I guess we will just show up, the 2 of us and sit at a table for 3. That's okay with me....at least we get to go.

too bad if they don't have tables for 2. does that mean they would rather have empty tables than use them for 2? i have to wait until friday for ADRs for 12/8 since that will be our first day there. we will be attending MVMCP and i was planning on CRT for dinner- sounds like it will be slim that i will get that... i am disappointed already. i guess we will end up at CP.

Don't be disappointed Hotveggy! Just get on the phone 1st thing Friday morning and give it a try! Let us know how it goes!

I'm also looking for CRT on 12/8 before the MVMCP and was unable to get anything. I called shortly after 8:00. Do phone lines open at 7 am Florida time, or is it 8 am Florida time? Did I miss out by an hour?

Don't give up on getting that CRT ADR! I got a 5:15 ADR for a party of 3 for 12/1 - another MVMCP night. I called during the 90 + 10 window (actually 94 days out).

Does anyone know if CRT will be decorated for Christmas? We've never been during the holidays.

Well, today must be my lucky day!! I was able to get 5:25pm on 12/09 instead of the original 4pm! I can't imagine how hard it must be to try to get in there for breakfast if dinner is that hard to come by! Thank you to everyone that replied!

Ellajoan, the phone lines open at 7am EST. Keep trying every day. There is always the chance that someone may cancel for your date. Let us know how it goes!

called at 6:58 this am-- not open.
called 7:00 on hold for 20 minutes, had to leave for work.
called 7:55 on hold for 15 minutes and then finally got through.

DIDN"T GET CRT for 12/8 dinner- he said "i have nothing for dinner." ended up with CP instead.

DIDN'T get Le Cellier for 12/9 dinner- he had nothing for dinner! said to call back tomorrow for more openings.
only had 2:10 for lunch! i would have settled for a late lunch sitting, but wow. i took it just in case.
