Need a favor - can you guys keep our school and church in your prayers?

Prayers and PD....

My daughter attended a St Joseph's in Williamsport, PA and when she was there one of the boys in her 2nd class lost his dad to a brain tumor.

It's hard but I'm sure your church and school community will really help them in their time of need.

WOW! I just went out & picked up one of those 75 OHM blocks. What a difference!!! I had forgotten just how fast high speed could be. I've been shut out of the internet for a couple days with short bursts of connection so I have managed to get a couple posts out there. I finally got tired of it & ran to Radio Shack in the terrible weather we are having. Rain all over.

Prayers to the school. That is terrible!!! Those poor kids.

Everyone must be watching the Olympics. I won't spoil it for anybody. We had parent teacher conferences tonight. No school tomorrow. That means I get to sleep in. YEAHHHHH!

We joine AAA today. I think that it's worth the $60 just in what we'll save in hotels this year Disney or non-Disney. Have any of you guys used them to book your travel? I have a room-only reservation for December but I think I'll call AAA and see what they can offer.

Lisa G.--I've talked to Darci B. through e-mail, they are booked for this cruise and I think her family was on your last cruise. They live about 45 minutes away from us. She was on the radio with her daughter promoting the JDRF walk coming up. She said we were all in good hands with you.

Yes, Darci was on our last cruise and told me that they were going on this one but she hasn't been posting much. Tell her to stop by & say hello once in a while.

I watched the internet for updates until 5 pm today & now am watching the performances. It is still nice to seet hem even though I know the results.

WOW! Where is everyone? I am SO looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow. This was the first day that I didn't have to drag the kids out of bed at 7:30 all week. DD seems to be adjusting more & has the sparkle back in her eyes. Oh...great news too!!! Yesterday she tested for reading & is at a 5-6 level...which is what is required to move on to 1st grade! I am SO happy! This was a big concern of mine. Now I can relax knowing that she will be even further by the end of the year & with help this summer she will be solidly on track for next year.
