I know we're all talking money and costs to WDW and I know of two websites that have discount info for WDW, you may already know them but I've found them rather helpful.

Lisa, can I post those websites or do I need to email them to people?

PM me with your email addy and I'll email them!

Sweet Mickey...
I just will have to economize...perhaps skip Vegas this year.. but then again, going to Vegas might help me take more cruises :teeth:
A....yep that's what we always think too. Las Vegas to make our cruise and retirement $$!. ::yes:: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hey all of you 12/05 cruisers....

Where are your trip reports :confused3 ??

:chat: I guess you are too chatty to do your assignment?! :rotfl:
Homework?? WE HAD HOMEWORK?? Ok, here's what I learned on my Disney Cruise: Digital cameras cannot be used underwater, but the cards can survive a good soaking with sea water. I like cranberry and vodka. :drinking1 The Rainforest gets better each time we go. ::yes:: Daniello is still at Cove Cafe and still makes a great mocha or vanilla latte. Photos taken of you sleeping on a lounge chair at Serenity Bay are not flattering! :scared1: Preachers kids are just as much fun as I remember from high school. ;) Meeting DIS friends just gets more fun every cruise. :grouphug: :disrocks:

I'm sure missed something, but others will fill in.

UH OH. Gotta run, Dennis is looking for me. Wants to show me something and I bet he would like some dinner too. LAter

Hey all,

I agree with everyone - book your own airfare. We let the TA do the whole thing through Disney the first time, when we did our land/sea, and spent waaaaaay too much on the package in hindsight.

I told this story on the other thread, but I will tell it again here . . . on our last cruise, we essentialy flew for half-price, because on our previous trip there was trouble with the plane (we had an engine go out 15 minutes into the flight, and had to divert back), so they gave us a free one-way flight.

This cruise, Amy and I will be flying for the cost of 64 Wendy's drinks each. Airtran and Wendy's did a promotion where there was a coupon on each medium and biggie drink for airtran airfare. 32 coupons equaled enough points for a free one-way flight, 64 enough for a round trip, and you could send in up to 128. You also had to sign up for their frequent flier plan that we already have. Needless to say, we worked hard to save coupons, and ask relatives who don't travel to do so. Last Saturday I sent in 128 coupons each so we each will have two round trip flights. (I heard lots of stories of dumpster diving to get these coupons). :rotfl2:

Anyhow, 128 drinks is a lot cheaper than at least 220 or so dollars for each round trip flight! My advice is, find your low cost carrier, sign up for their sales and email alerts, and wait until as close to the departure date as you possibly can to book to get the best sale fare (like Angie suggested).

Airfare through Disney is no deal at all.

John

Time for the East coast to go to bed and hand it off to the West Coast.

Jordan, are you out there, or are we not close enough to the next "00"?

John

I had checked before when John mentioned that Wendy's deal and Airtran does not have service to Portland. Bummer! :( I think I have enough miles for a trip on United, but we have to fly thru Phoenix this year to pick up DGS so I think America West is going to be our only choice. They should have prices competive with the other though, just no freeby. Oh well, I can use my miles next trip.

DOn't forget the extra credit report, Angie! Do NOT walk forward while looking to the side or behind you while talking when you are walking along a pier. ;)

SORRY CRISTI!!! I couldn't resist. ;)

Goodness, they will be closer to the next 100 by the time those of us on the East Coast wake up. :)

Ok kids are in bed and Emily's at a board mtg. The dog sleeping next to me. How is everyone?
Mark

Angie, its has been dry the last couple of days. We are going to get wet tonight.

I TIVO'd the Ducks/Kings game and am watching it again. You never know when the Ducks are going to win again, especially against the Kings.

Hey Jordan, how was everyones day? Mine went well stayed home with my little one had a great day walking the dog and visiting Gram-mom.

They say we are going to have about an 18 hour reprieve from the rain starting sometime tonight. Not expecting sun, but at least no rain for a few hours. The streams and rivers are all at or above flood stage. :worried:
