all is quiet at my house....this is getting to be somewhat of a feat most nights....now if only I could sneak in a nice hot bath.....:)

Hey Vanessa-
Thanks for the info on CSR, I had just posted that we booked there. When is your DD birthday? My baby DD, Kaitlyn's, is Feb 6, she'll be 11 going on about 16, not a baby anymore. The last two weeks all she's been talking about is the boy she's in "love" with. I'm not sure I'm ready for a teenage girl. Enjoy yours while she's young. Finding pink heart stuff for her birthday should be easy but paying for the roses, OUCH!

Hi all--
Thanks for sending the pixie dust my way. The snow has stopped and we only got a couple of inches and no wind. :sunny: The sun is supposed to be out tomorrow and it should all melt, highs in the 40s. The swimmers should all be able to make it safely.

I can't remember if I told you guys that we finally have decided on a resort for before our cruise. We booked at Coronado Springs Resort. All the pictures we've seen look gorgeous and people on the resort thread have been raving about it. It's a little bit smaller room (two double beds) but we'll have more money to spend on "stuff" :flower:

By linking reservations, do we share a table or just sit near each other? I'm interested to see what nights things will be on since it's a new itenerary. I guess we'll have to wait for the first group to find out. Will they be going before it's time for us to make our 90 day reservations at Palo?

Scout, they will seat us in the same area, same dining room. The Formal night will more than likely be Monday & semi on Thursday since those are our Sea days.

What does the "give them our passport info" mean?

With the new laws about overseas travel every US citizen must have a passport (even children). Disney needs to have the passport numbers on your reservation by the 75th day prior to sailing (this is the day that the cruise must be paid in full). No one can travel with only a birth certificate any more. :confused3

Welcome back, Brack! :grouphug: As you can see we have been very busy getting to know each other.

Thanks for the welcome back. I have missed the board and hope to spend more time here. I sent Lisa our bio and a pix so you all can know a bit more about us. We're not a "wild" crew nor are we "stick in the mud" types but we do have fun. We certainly love the DCL Magic!

I'll be very happy to coordinate the late dining hook ups. It is very fun to have a whole section of DISers. :) :Pinkbounc

We are dining at the Main dining time and love to "hookup" with other DISers

Karen-I was wondering the same thing. Although we do have passports, I thought you didn't need them for '06 sailings? I didn't look, maybe brack's from outside the US, then you'd need to give them that info. :confused3 Lisa W.

We currently live in wonderful Oklahoma but by the time of the cruise we could be somewhere else in the southeast (work moves us every so often).

I am fairly certainly that the DCL Reservations supervisor told me that all cruises after December 31st 2005 had to have the passport info sent to DCL. Anyone know differently? It is not a problem for us because we have had ours for a couple of years.

This week at work has been horrible...Price Watherhouse Cooper has been holding off issuing our final FY 05 audited financial stmts for various reasons but one of the reasons was up to me to find......I have been beyond stressed and am glad I met my 11th hour deadline at 6pm tonight! I need to tell my boss I need a 3 night DCL cruise!!!

I can empathize with you! Starting on Monday I have E&Y for two weeks for our annual audit. It is always so much fun. I know that there is nothing wrong but it is always such a task to endure. :badpc:

Hmmm...well it was but then I heard the government pushed it back until Jan 1, 2007. Anyone else who can answer correctly? For us it's a non-issue since we already have our passports but for other's it could be. :confused3

We were linked for dining with alot of DISers on the 10 day cruise in Dec 2004. We were seated at 2 tables for 10, 3 tables for 6 and a table for 4. All of these were in the same section so we were all very near each other. Lots of laughter, sharing of wine, making friendships that we believe will last a lifetime.

We got lucky and were seated near Jordan, Wendy and their families this last cruise without linking, but that was just luck. We did have a great time seeing them each evening and we all rearranged and sat together a couple of nights when some were gone to Palo. They have VERY gracious families. :grouphug:

Sounds like your group is just like the rest of the DISers on this board that I have met. :goodvibes

It has been pushed back to Jan 1, 2007 for sure. If you plan to cruise again soon or otherwise go out of the country it makes sense to get one now. However, there are folks like my neice (SpoiledBrats3) who will likely not be sailing again real soon and it makes much more sense for her to spend the extra money having fun. DH and I don't have ours yet, just procrastination. Maybe this year.

Hi all. Brack I'm glad you made it back!! Its late I hope you all have a great weekend! :sunny:

I called the hotel at the airport. They want $185.60 for the 8th. has anyone found a better price?

The main reason I haven't booked air is the fact I don't know how long I will be staying at WDW before the cruise. I am hoping for at least 2 full days before the cruise. I would like to ride Expedition: Everest at least a few times. I would also like to get into vacation mode before stepping on the ship so I am already a little relaxed....we'll see.
