Jordan - I don't even know you (yet!) but somehow I thought - if anyone did it - it might be you....you sound like a "behind the scenes" prankster. (And I don't mean that in a bad way!! - just that you seem to like to have fun)

I do like to have fun and I have been known to pull a prank or two in my day.

Found out I repeated a post from last night that I did not think was posted because while I was doing it, the Boards were taken down. So, Ignore this post.

Dealing with that puppy training . . .

If anyone has any ideas about nipping - fingers and toes and pantlegs - I'm open to suggestions. The coins in a cup worked for awhile - I am moving to a spray bottle tomorrow.

Gosh, I'm not sure I can count the times we have taken the grandkids to DL. Our oldest is 16 and he was 9 months the first trip. We have gone "almost" yearly and he and his brother usually go with us. Our DD's step children have only gotten to go to DL with us once and to DW/Cruise with us once also. The youngest is 6 and will be going on this cruise/DW trip with us. He lives in Phoenix, but Dad and/or Mom bring him to Anaheim when we are down there so he does not miss the DL trips with the other grandkids. We took all the GKs and kids to WDW and on a 4 day cruise in Dec 2003. Oldest was 14 and youngest 4 at that time.

I can't wait until we have a "gang" of DGKs to bring with us! Got our "you're in call from DVC. Now we are just waiting for the closing! Have to make or ressies for GC!

John, the spray bottle might work - are you using the bitter apple?

As for fingers, our trainers taught us to open our hand, sort of "karate chop" it back toward his jaw quickly in his mouth. Unpleasant, but doesn't hurt him. You don't say anything, so he doesn't equate it with you, just gets an unpleasant consequence every time he tries it. It was pretty effective with our Chessie. Have Fun!

It's going to be in the 80's again today. It's January for crying out loud. It may not get cold, but some rain wouldn't hurt.

As others have mentioned, I am already putting together items for next year's cruise. I am putting Birth Certificate(Passport soon), water wallet, etc all in my Castaway Club Backpack that I got this year.....I don't know what other vacations I am taking this year so....just getting prepared.

Oh I am going to San Diego for my birthday in Feb. and I am going to church camp in Santa Cruz in August....

I had so much fun at Target this morning!!! It finally went 90% off Christmas things. The first 27 DIS families that sign up with the website will get velour stockings for the cruise. Anyone after that will get more basic red stockings.

Lisa - what a neat idea about the stockings! Should we bring little "stocking stuffers" and we can pass them out at one of our dismeets?

I miss being out here so much. I'm responsible for a big school winter festival on Feb. 4th and it has had me so crazy lately. Believe it or not - I had to come out to the boards just for some sanity!!! I know it is hard to believe! I have to spend my weekends putting together these carnival type games. It requires me to cut boards, use power tools, paint, and be creative. DH heard about my needing to use a power saw....he has offered to help! Guess he wants me to keep all my fingers!!!! And no - in case anyone is wondering - I've never used a power saw before. I'm okay with power screw gun and a hammer....if ya don't care if the nails are straight. So - - - sounds like I'm in for one heck of a weekend, huh?! Wish I had some of you creative disboarders living close by.


Hope everyone is doing well. Have a great weekend if I don't get back on.

And by the way - HAVE YA SEEN OUR THREAD'S NUMBERS?!!! YOWZA! We're passing the cruises for next month and ours is a whole year away!!! You guys rock!

Angie and Lisa, Thanks so much for the encouragement We are using the points for DL with kids this year. But we are going to definitely think about the next year. Has anyone gone on the member cruise before? I see they are doing one this Oct. Looks like they charge less points.

We went on the very first Member Cruise. 2003. Actually I think they charge more points. The member cruise is a 4 day in Oct (Sept last year), which is low season. You get ALOT for the points though. We got really nice gifts left in our room every single night and the tips are included now. Lots of perks throughout the cruise. (they were not on the first one)

Sounds like your home repair skills are about like mine! Dennis tries to keep me away from sharp tools too! And nails! Nope he will NOT let me get near a wall with a hammer and nail! I see no problem with having 2 or 3 (or 4 maybe) holes BEHIND a picture since you can't see them anyway! If it's not right the first time what ARE you supposed to do?
