They are very addicting. The only thing that eases the sting from leaving the ship on the last day is knowing that we already have another cruise booked. We will be going to WDW for a day before the cruise this time.lbgraves said:Yes, the menus will stay the same for a while now so we are good on that....UNLESS you can get a copy of Palo's menu. If you angle your camera just right you can take a picture of them, which is what I was doing but after talking to the head server & telling him that I am a mod on this board & why people want to see them beforehand, he made copies of the computer listing for all of them. Thanks!

We are planning on going to MVMCP the Thursday night before, and MGM on Friday. With our land/sea we checked in for the cruise at the resort, can we do that with a seven day? We'd like to make a stop at Downtown Disney or AK before the cruise. From what I've gathered we can't, but I guess it's worth asking.
Sadly I tried but DH insisted that it would be at least 2 years before we cruised again
so he didn't want to do the deposit for that long.
The next week at home he asked if I would "MIND" if we went on DCL in less than 2 years.
He was thinking Feb or March for a good price so I suggested that if he wanted the best deal, go in December. We were booked 3 weeks after we got off the ship...BUT DU got us a great rate that was better than the 10% + 200 credit. This time we had two cruises booked so didn't have to deal with the rebooking line. You can't checkin for the cruise the way you do on the land/sea, i.e. one KTTW card that works both at WDW and on the ship. You will need to check in at the port, but you can use the Castaway Club check in line which is shorter usually. You can use Disney transport an be picked up at either your resort or AK though.dutch_girl_scout said:We didn't rebook on board, we thought the let-down feeling of leaving the ship would go away in a few days.

I think you have to be on board by 4, but I'm not sure about that. Usually we ask how early can we get onboard.dutch_girl_scout said:So if I don't care what time we get on the ship, what time do I have to be at the port? Will our luggage still be taken from the resort or do we have to take care of it? I appreciate everyone's answers, if I get annoying let me know and I'll post my questions on the other boards. Thanks!
If you do DCL transportation, they will pick up your luggage at the resort, you can take your carryons with you to AK and catch a bus there. I would call DCL to ask what time the bus leaves AK and if you need to let them know that is what you are doing.
