and John, I dug out two Indians jackets - we bought those on the 4th of July weekend one year up in Ohio when we couldn't handle the cold!!


DH now thinks we are going to start a vineyard and become rich. His uncle sent him five grape plants that he started for us.........

John - you remember I am native right? My blood is thin, thin, thin. And most of the year everyone in Fl is walking around in not much clothing. This is cold.....brrr.....brrr....

We had to laugh last year. We were waiting in line at Spaceship Earth after the cruise, and we were the ONLY people in shorts. It was like 65 degrees! And it was probably going to be about 75 for the day. The Florida natives were dressed up like eskimos, and I am in a polo and shorts feeling GOOD!

They of course were looking at us like we were cuckoo.

I am not sure DD would go. she has a hearing impairment and really does not do well with loud places. it tends to cause overload with or without hearing aides. she loves High School Musical but she has never asked to go to any concerts. my 1st concert was probably about 14--my DF took me and my sister to see Shaun Cassidy live. DF never took us to another concert.

Oh my! Oldest DD LOVED Shaun Cassidy! I had forgotten all about him!

Should I get us those numbers that they pin on marathoner's backs for the CC 2k race to the hammocks? Could you just see that stairwell lobby with a bunch of us with numbers on our backs - and then picture us racing along that trail trying to beat the rudolph tram to the beach?

Anyway, if we still have it and Devon is willing to part with it, maybe we can donate spare parts for future incidents of missing pieces.

I did something today I never did before....I went to lunch at a restaurant with the two kids today. It was an actual rest....not a fast food joint. DH and I have had them out lots of times...but this was my first solo trip. They were so good. People were even commenting on how well they were behaved. I kept hoping that it would stay that way!!!

Awww. It's so nice to do this. I have taken the girls out solo quite a number of times. My favorite is when I get the chance to take just one with me. When it was just Sarah, we had a small diner type restaurant down the street that we would walk to every few weeks. Great news that they were on their best behavior.

My son had a paper in his preschool cubby about picture day. PICTURE DAY!!! It never in my wildest dreams occured to me that they would have Preschool pictures!!!

I was thrilled when I learned Dina's preschool would have pictures this year. Each girl has been in this school and it is the first time there has been pictures. Makes me look like a better mom actually having pics of Dina.

Wonder if I'll get them on the wall though?
