Hey Karen,

You know Bruesters ice cream cakes are to die for... They have a layer of cake on the bottom (vanilla, choc, or marble) and then the top layer is whatever ice cream you want (i got the b-day party cake kind)

My cake was the round kind with the half ice cream cones around the sides... You can get "toppings" for the icing cones (cherries, sprinkles, chocolate, caramel) too.

And if you have a cold stone creamery don't forget to register ahead of time for your free love it creation. (log onto their website and hit birthday club).

Thanks Kristina. We've had both Brusters and Carvel....we'd prefer the 100% ice cream...carvel type. Go figure. Actually, my absolute favorite is Watergate cake...a green pistachio with a whipped cream icing. But DH would have to make that so....

Aww come on guys! Stay at the Country Inn! I think it's a lot cheaper! Plus I want to NOT know some people too!

Got a deal on a 2-bedroom suite at Residence Inn; sharing with Dsis and BIL so cost goes down even more (adults each get a bedroom, kids will be fine on the living room sofa bed, plus breakfast!)
