Tana i will try to call you tomorrow. We got in later than we expected as we missed our connecting flight in Chicago due to leaving late from Akron canton due to the plane being late coming in. We arrived at Chicago and ran to the gate which was clear across the airport and got there just as the plane was backing away from the gate! I thought I was going to scream.... of course I couldn't because I couldn't breathe therefore I couldn't scream!!


Any way we are here and the hotel is right downtown. I am on the 20th floor,have to use my key to get that special floor, oh boy!!! This hotel has sleep number beds and gives you a cd to sleep to and an eye mask and lavender spray for you pillow!!!

Well I am off to bed now!!

I'm around, just not as interested in posting lately. The chat the other night really bothered me in some things that were said jokeingly...I unfortuanetly did not see them as funny. The situation was innocent but a joke (a bad one) was made and carried too far and its upsetting. Not that there is any truth in it, just that its not something to joke about. I understand that some DISers have come forward and apologized for the situation and I appreciate that.

I heard there was some discussion about us not coming on the cruise; I don't see any truth in that. We wouldn't miss it.

Anyway, I'll be around; just maybe not posting as much.

ooh, what a frustrating travel day. Glad you have such a fun hotel to relax in now! You'll have to report back on the sleep number bed, is it heavenly?? You must be at the Radisson? When Paul and I first got married we lived 4 blocks East of there (left down Kellogg Blvd) in Kellogg Square apartments -- on the lucky 13th floor!

I'll be out and about with the chilluns tomorrow but will watch for your call and hopefully we can connect!

You guys are in Chicago! I love Chicago! I lOVE LOVE LOVE the miracle mile! And Amy there is an american girl doll store there too! They have the coolest new accessories! Oh, and I love Shed Aquarium, oooh and Navy Pier! I am soo jealous!!!! Buy some stuff thinking of me!!!!! (i promise not to tell john)

We are all set for the cruise on December 9th. It looks like I am a little late in joining this board, but I just wanted to say hi and looking so forward to the cruise! Joining me is my DH, DD (11), DS (10), DS (6), DS (4), and MIL. We can't wait!

We have had planes back out on us in Chicago. I HATE when that happens.
Chicago is the only place that it has happened to us too.

Oh, by the way, this is DrHug. I am posting the baby picture for Angie. This is one of the cruise prevention babies. Carter Dale Stafford; b. 10/10/06.
Because of him his Mommy couldn't go on the cruise. His cohort cousin will be along soon. Because of her Her Mommy can't go cruisin' either. We're hoping she makes it here safe and sound too. MrsMork will tell you all about it. G'nite for now.
