Ok, I would but...I can't send packaged foods over the boarder, needs FDA approval. Even for private gifts. But I can send spiked homemade brownies without FDA approval. What's up with that!

Don't you all get the Cadbury Creme Eggs down there? I thought they started down there? And the Smarties are different? Cool never knew. If I remember I will bring a couple of boxes down with in December.

To all the DCL experts out there: here's an actual cruise-related question.
As some may remember, my parents have paid for this cruise for us kids/spouses/grandkids. My sibs and I are only covering our own onboard charges/tips and would like to have a way to cover Mom and Dad's as well. Can we have DCL switch their room charges to one of our credit cards? Or is there some other way to manage this? I have a feeling that if we try to do it at check-in it will be awkward (like battling over who is picking up the check at dinner, kwim?) Any ideas?

All of you Kids, need to find out their ressie number, step 1
Call DCL gift deptment, find on DCL website, step 2
GIFT DGM and DGD stateroom credit, your choice of amount, step 3
When DGM and DGD go to clear balance with CC during cruise and there is no or little balance, you all smile sweetly and say "because we love you", step 4.

It started last spring, craziness I tell ya. Also can't send playing cards to Greece, don't know why on that one either.

Jodie, I believe that it is called a krenlin? You could ship it to the warehouse & have it delivered to your room. Do this via FedEx so that insurance is on it...you can add insurance for anything over a $100 value at a VERY low cost...cents on the dollar. When you get to your room, give it to your stateroom host to have it pressed. IMO there is not going to be a place on the plane for you to put it without it being "squished.

Another option....you are staying at a resort before the cruise, right? Just ship it there & carry it onto the ship with you in the box and have it pressed. The cost of pressing is half of cleaning. IMO they should be able to handle something delicate like that if they can clean tuxes & formal evening gowns.
