I think in the whole time I have known John I have only seen him get really really mad once and it was at his sister.

And boy did she deserve it! (although now I have no idea what it was about, just that I blew my top)

Now that she is an adult, I have just given up on changing her. Another long story.

He is learning to get very frustrated. Some of the puzzles are extremely hard. I am not sure what it has to do with math. All columns have to have 1 to 9, all boxes have to have 1 to 9, all rows have to have 1 to 9. I really enjoy working the puzzles but I miss the math connection. DD had the same match teacher and was really behind when she went to the next grade. the teacher seems to do things a lot differently than any other teacher in the district.

DD had Sudoku puzzles in advanced math that drove her batty. I think it's supposed to be about recognizing patterns in a bigger picture than math problems. She still hates the puzzles but she can analyze a group of numbers quicker.

We'll see. DH and I are playing in a couples event in 2 weeks. At least it's an alternate-shot format.
The new driver (Adams golf) is huge (JOHN do not go there).

Patsy, I meant to ask yesterday: did you change your signature line to include cats... or were they always there?

I updated DCI (Sammy) to a devil cat come time ago. He used to be the standard Dis cat smiley. I added DCII (Clive) This weekend.

Sammy uses his cuteness for evil.
Clive uses his cuteness for good.

Well, the game is almost over, and it looks like Marielle was right.

The Browns and the Steelers will both be at the bottom half of the AFC North.

How do you go from Superbowl to down there in just one year?

Anyway, tomorrow is Monday so I gues I better go get some shut eye.

I think its great that their young qb was able to do so well tonight. maybe big ben will make it back soon but he still doesn't seem to be 100%

San Diego's qb is an NC State guy, so that makes it even more disappointing to lose. Roethlisberger looked better in the first half tonight, but not in the second half.

Well, I can say that being apart for almost a year keeps you from fighting too....but I wouldn't recommend it.

We were separated the better part of the first year of our marriage. He left for VietNam 2 days after our wedding. Maybe that has something to do with it too.

I can't eat mushrooms. I also can't eat anything with mushrooms cooked into it. Even if I can't see them I can taste them and ugh, they're just awful.

DS & I are allergic to any kind of mold/fungus. we both have had minor asthmatic reactions to items with mushrooms in it. we just are very careful not to order anything with mushrooms & we questions items we don't know

I like them. DrHug will eat them, but is not crazy about them. He will eat whatever I put in front of him really. His mom used to say he would eat t-***t if it was on a plate. He is really just that easy to please.
