John1, I have to say you provided all the entertainment needed at our house tonight. DrHug was reading over my shoulder and we were :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: until our stomachs hurt and we were crying at the photos you posted of everyone. What fun!! :lmao:

Angie,

I was doing the same thing . . .

Amy found that site, and I was out of control!

When we were first married and he was mad and would not talk to me I would pour pitchers of water on him until he laughed hysterically and started to talk to me... Do not do this in front of your kids.

Well, I can say that being apart for almost a year keeps you from fighting too....but I wouldn't recommend it.

It's funny that the "experts" in relationships will tell you that knowing "how to fight" is important and that couples who don't fight are keeping it pent up and then it explodes. We're just :confused3 We just don't have anything to fight about. Like Brandi said "he did not leave the formula on purpose" and we find that with most things. :confused3 What's there to fight about, really?

Exactly. Like you mentioned, people don't believe DH and I don't fight but honestly when we have disagreements we know each other well enough to know who needs to compromise so we just do. Nothing is pent up we just don't have anything happening that can't be resolved with a normal discussion.

Wow. Finally caught up.
Football? My Steelers are trying to hang with John's Browns in the division basement.
Mushrooms? DH-yes, Me-take 'em or leave 'em.
Soccer? DD's team won yesterday, but lost today. (And I know this is small-minded, but I hate that she lost to the neighbor's team today. That little girl loves to brag. And she tells my DD to shut up when DD sings silly songs.)

Not many people can say that Angie!! :thumbsup2

I will say this about fighting . . .

Amy used to get mad because I would not get mad! Go figure! I have a very, very, long fuse (no comments Caroline or Brandi) you know what I mean!

She is now used to it. I told her, I grew up in an ethnic family where there was fighting, yelling, and shouting EVERY day - it was a way of life for my whole family, and to a large extent still is.

I had enough of that. Even when I hear them yelling today I just shake my head.

I have found even with my kids that when they pull the getting mad thing that when they see they can't get a reaction out of me, it changes the situation entirely.

Of course smiling or laughing at someone who is mad can sometimes have the effect of making you duck as objects fly in your direction.

Really? I think Sudoku puzzles have nothing to do with math.. more about logic. The numbers are just symbols, you can use shapes or letters and get the same results. Is your son learning a lot? This is very interesting! My ds6 would love to do sudoku puzzles all day!
He is learning to get very frustrated. Some of the puzzles are extremely hard. I am not sure what it has to do with math. All columns have to have 1 to 9, all boxes have to have 1 to 9, all rows have to have 1 to 9. I really enjoy working the puzzles but I miss the math connection. DD had the same match teacher and was really behind when she went to the next grade. the teacher seems to do things a lot differently than any other teacher in the district.

I like them. DrHug will eat them, but is not crazy about them. He will eat whatever I put in front of him really. :confused3 His mom used to say he would eat t-***t if it was on a plate. He is really just that easy to please. :)

Once again ladies, PLEASE watch what you post!

I really want you all to speak to me when we get on the ship, and these lines are going to get me in big trouble sooner or later.

Hey Amy,
My new (first set ever) golf clubs arrived on Friday. DH and I went to the driving range for a short time tonight.

One time I threw my shoe at DH in a Las Vegas Hotel Room....We were both working a conference, my family was there and I asked my cousin to speak.... TOO MUCH ALL AT ONCE.

Was he laughing at you?

Just a quick check in before bedtime.

John1 I love all the banana's.

Ladies, thanks for posting the "real" pictures of yourselves. Now I will know how to spot you

Mushrooms, DH No way Me Yipee! DD not if she sees them first

What's the story on that plane ride? I have been reading the pages backwards and I'm a little confused.

We got another kitten this weekend named Clive. I think Sammy is going to eat him. They spend 30 minutes together then 1 hour apart.

PJ I said it earlier but I'm saying it again. GREAT JOB ON THE NEWSLETTER!

I think in the whole time I have known John I have only seen him get really really mad once and it was at his sister.

Patsy, I meant to ask yesterday: did you change your signature line to include cats... or were they always there?
