Jodi,

The first class cabin has a closet to hang jackets in. Just ask them to put it in there for you. I am sure they will.

I agree! Let the flight attendants know it's your wedding gown and I'm betting they'll move things to make it work for you! :bride:

Hi Charlotte! Are you at the library again?

:wave2: Morning Karen!

Yupper doodlebugs.....at my "home away from home".

Just met the nicest vending machine man who showed me the coffee machine here in the Library. It has a grinder in it to grind the coffee beans fresh for each cup! I think I'm in heaven! :cloud9: :rotfl2:

Flag Idea - ......get that velcro tape stuff....stick the one side to your flag...stick the other side to the window and then velcro it up anytime you need. At the end of the cruise...the velcro tape will come off the wall and the flag.

Now - still haven't figured out how I'm gonna put ours up on the verandah..

CJS - any ideas on that?

Are we hanging pirate: flags?

I think that will be easy. :) There are two holes on the left side and you can clip that on with some of those metal key chain clip things. You can put a small hole in the right side and clip those on too. You will probably need some twine too? I would take a couple things to see what works best.

So...when your laptop is returned....are you going to keep going back to the library? :rotfl:

Are you implying that we may need to move our DISdrug House to the Library? I think that would be a first. "In a multi-state sting, police arrested 175 DIS'ers using local libraries to get their daily fix"

Then we'd all need a "I only DIS at Libraries" button?? :lmao:

So...DD & the kids in her class have been instructed to run out into the hall way when the "bad kid" does something to threaten them. So far his favorite thing to do is pick up a chair and hold it above his head then throw it. I really don't want her in the same class with him but that would require me to take her away from her teachers & friends to go in another class & that would be stressful for both of us. She stopped crying in the mornings a couple weeks ago. I really do not want her to go thru that again. This is the same kid who threatened her & another girl that he was going to bring a knife to school & cut them. :(

Now we're posting!
Good morning to the DIS office at the library!

Yea! People to post with! :yay:

Lisa -- I am a serious late-night person.....once the laptop has been returned, my posting times will be seriously adjusted! :rotfl:

By the way, Lisa -- thank you, thank you for the tip on Game Stop and the POTC necklaces! I found the Davy Jones key ones for the boys yesterday! On sale, too! :thumbsup2

DS was actually a little happier with his homework. Last night the teacher sent him home with the 3rd grade worksheet for him to do. He started saying it was still easy then he got down to the third problem and said "WHOA! I have to use my brain a little bit for this one!:" :lmao: I think that he appreciates the fact that his teacher gave this to him. Honestly, it is still pretty simple for him but he doesn't have to write out the number lables...which he hates because it is "just so stupid." He enjoyed solving the double digit addition equations "in his mind" without showing the work carrying the numbers. :) He had me make up more.

Good heavens, Lisa! This is not right. Why are they letting this kid threaten the others?! :furious:

COOL! :thumbsup2 pirate: I didn't realize that those were necklaces too. Maybe I should go back & get one for DS? LOL! He will have his Hook costume on.

Sounds like your son has the math gene! :thumbsup2

(I'm horrible at math, hate math, hate it. Have tried extra hard not to let that bias rub off on my DS's.)

What I have been told is that the title one phylosophy is that if you take that child out of the classroom they will lose instructional time and their scores will drop (IOW EOG tests). Why don't they see that if they leave that child down they will have the scores of the other 22 kids in the class drop because they are afraid of what the psycho will do, the teacher loses instructional time for everyone, and noone is going to get their work done??? :furious: I am really feeling that I am going to have DD moved. DS's teacher said that she wouldn't want her child in the same class with "that boy" when I mentioned she was afraid to go to school. :(

Yes! They're necklaces! Verrrrry cool, too. :thumbsup2

I didn't realize it at first either.....thought it was just the key. But when you look closer at the package, you can see the brown leather cord.

We opened them up last night.....the cord is real leather, but long.....I need to adjust it up a bit for the boys.

(I might have bought a gold coin necklace for me, too!) :teeth:

He has been doing mult tables since last January in 1st grade. He is also a great reader. Last night he read a book that is listed as a 6.9 on the AR listing. He is going to test on it today. :wizard:
