72 days to go cruisers!!!! :yay:

Welcome Dani&Em’s Mom (sorry I can’t remember your exact username yet)! We seem to be THE Cruise for 6 year old girls. I think there are maybe 6-7 6 year old girls in our group.

Last night after I got off the computer I was able to have a full cup of that Eddy’s lite chocolate chunk ice cream for 6 points. Not too bad since I had 8 points left to hit my target…. ;) I know our cafeteria here at work is having taco salads for lunch and I love them so in order to prevent myself from getting one I actually packed my lunch. I brought in a Lean Cuisine pizza. I also packed one of those 100 calorie snack packs of the Chips Ahoy. Yum!

I got my car back yesterday afternoon and turned in the rental car. This morning DS went out to the garage and said “Mommy – the red car is gone!”. I told him that I picked up my car and they took the rental car back. DS got all upset and said “My booster seat!!!!”. We just bought him his booster seat and the first time he used it was in this rental car. He really likes it and he thought I got rid of it with the rental car. I had to show him how I was just getting ready to install his booster seat in my CR-V.

Well I should get back to work! Have a great morning everyone!

That is too Cute! :lovestruc

Great job on packing your lunch Becka - that is half the battle.

I think I have cooled off now. I was almost in tears this morning. Oh well, life goes on. Just think, before we know it we'll be in the 50 day range!

I'vesearched under David Rudman's name for news but nothing comes up.
I'll ask him where he heard this. He was watching TV last night when he told me this.

With all this water I bet I have to get up at least 2 times tonight! :sad2:

Only for the first two weeks Becka. Then your bladder is supposed to adjust to the increase in water.

DID YOU HEAR THAT BLADDER!

Well, up till now our pre cruise plans have been to drive as far as we can get after school on Friday, stop over at an el cheapo hotel in north Fla Friday night, then complete the drive on Saturday morning.

So, DH says to me earlier this week he thinks he can make it all the way to Orlando Friday evening so why don't we make reservations at an All Star? HA! I've been trying. Why didn't any of you tell me that you have to take a blood test to find out availability there? Yikes! Anyhow, we are settled with a room at Best Western on Hotel Plaza. Don't look for us at Jellyrolls however, I still don't expect us to get there before midnight.

Patsy, I've gotten the marriott near the airport for less than $40 a couple times that time of year on priceline. (also had the Peabody [heavenly beds are heavenly :cloud9: for only $70) which is just north of Bee Line on international.)

Aww cute Kim. Shame there's not an ice rink onboard. She could give a DIS performance for us.

I still have 8 points left to hit my target for today. I wonder what I should have? I have some low-fat ice cream that would not be too bad would it? It would be another diary serving.

Shame you don't have any frosty cow sandwiches... They are yummy and not too many points...You could probably have two even.

I have had those before and they are good. This ice cream was pretty good. I actually was not too hungry but a snack still sounded nice and I really thought I should try to eat a few more points since 8 under my target was quite a bit under. A cup of ice cream was just about right for me while I watched TV with DH. :)

One of his criteria is that he wants to be able to find it at midnight after driving for 8-10 hours straight. I figure he can find Downtown Disney just fine so that hotel will just have to do! I could find el cheapo lots of places in Orlando but, we did want to hit the sack with the least possible chance of getting lost.

One more thing on the hotel. I figured "What the hey" it's only one night, how about Hard Rock? Not at $500 per night. I could almost bring a guest for DD on the cruise for that.

I always feel weird when I have too many points left over at the end of the day. They say you really should eat all your points most of the time or it can cause you to lose too fast - is there really such a thing? ;)

Actually the reverse is true. Your body (supposedly) needs a minimium amt of calories to function. When you eat under your amt of points. Your body thinks it does not have enought to function and your metabolism (again supposedly) slows down and weight loss slows.

Boy i could recite this stuff in my sleep, I've been on nearly every program there is. Now only if i could get my (supposed) body/metabolism onboard there wouldn't be a problem.

I am a frequent reader, but have not really posted. We are on the December 9, 2006 cruise and I would like to find a little girl close to my 6 year old daughter's age, that she could e-mail and get to know prior to the cruise. My daughter is named Danielle, but goes by Dani. If anyone is interested, let me know.

Welcome D&E's Mom. There are many of us that have kids around here. However, don't be afraid to come out of lurkdom. If you see something, feel free to comment. I'm sure you've seen many of the new posters recently getting involved. We don't bite, much. :teeth:

If we know you better, than those among us would be more likely to e-mail.

(you can never be too careful with 6yo's sometimes)

The Hard Rock Hotel is $500? Ouch!

Lunchtime - where is everyone....
IDK if it is always $500, but it is that night. Perhaps all of us that are looking for a room can crash together. I call the tub.

SO do you guys need me to upgrade to that 2 bedroom at BWV. I still have some points i can borrow from.

Your DH could find that. Right?

That is a smart idea. Who wants to be lost in Orland in the middle of the night!
