You can google her name, Suzanne Proulx, and find more about them. We had to order from Amazon, could not find them in local bookstores. We bought 2 sets, one to read and one that she signed for us. "To My Favorite Big Brother." Very cool.

Ok, my cruise dream, and it was the first one for this trip, was that several of us were detained in Kim's stateroom and it was after dark before they could let us out and they had sailed for the 10 day christmas already. I don't know what that means, but it was weird.

We have a couple of authors in our family. DrHug's sister, Suzanne Proulx, has 4 medical mysteries published. Bad Blood, Bad Medicine, Bad Luck, Declared Dead. She got 5th back from publisher and is reworking it now. Quite a story with her. We did not know she existed until 2002 when DrHug's aunt told him he had a sister that was adopted. (1949 was her birth year). His mom had already passed away. We located the sister thru the wonders of the internet and it was pretty easy to do since she also was looking for us also. Their biological father was not a nice person (that is being kind to him) and their mother was divorcing him when she was pregnant with Suzi. Dennis was 3 turning 4. Bio father was in Terminal Island Prison (military) at the time. In those days there was no aid for dependent children or other welfare assistance. If you could not take care of your children the state took them and put them in an orphanage. So, it seems his mom made the choice to give Suzi a home, parents and love. With the help of her family she was able to take care of Dennis on her own. She had no education and few skills, so she worked as a waitress, etc. Anyway, their mom remarried 2 years later to DrHug's "real" Dad and he adopted DrHug, therefore changing his last name AND his life. So although Suzi's adopted Mom had given her the names of her biological family before she died and told her she has an older brother named Dennis, she was looking for Dennis under their bio father's last name and hitting brick walls. That Dennis no longer existed. Anyway, she lives in Denver has 4 boys, two grandchildren and we have gotten to spend time with her and her family several times since we found her in early 2003. Her books were fun for me to read, knowing the author was special.

Angie, that is such a touching story. What a shame Dennis didn't know about her until so recently, but a happy ending ensued! I am sure that Dennis is as lucky to have his "new" sister as she is to have a wonderful brother.

Ok we don't have those cards, and coupons are a joke up here. But we do have three different grocery stores with in 10 mins of us, so we flyer shop each week.

Lots of questions! I'm jumping around the board because I am so far behind so if you already mentioned specifics just tell me and I'll go read it. What did you like best? It is rainy and cold here so my thoughts on test driving went out the window. It probably would be a good day to go however I am feeling exhausted this morning and getting to the dealer, walking in the rain blah blah - I'm just not up to it.

No specifics... Ok, don't think I am mario andrette or anything. But I have to have a vehicle that corners really well and can go from 0 - 60 fast. Also, and more important, I have to be able to turn my head and see everything on the left side with my right eye (blind left) so huge windows are big for me.

We took in on a test drive and i did high speed circles in a parking lot. DH told me never never to drive like that crazy again.

Also, everything else is the same as my TL, which I loved. It has hands free cell phone that comes through the speakers, and side impact airbags.

The other stuff is just extra. It's cool, but not necessary in a a vehicle...

Ohh I can't wait to tell DD. She has always eaten her cereal without milk and she is the only person I have ever known to do that - so she'll think it is cool to know htat she is not alone.

Only DD3 uses milk! The other two use it very seldom.

John, our local Fred Meyer has the President's Choice brand as their store brand. Are you connected to them? They were bought out by Kroeger a few years ago.

We just got the PC Brand in our stores. It is an upscale private label brand. I can't remember who distributes it, but it is available to independent grocers as a quality non-brand grocery.

I'm trying to use my Palm T/X to keep up while I'm out. It's difficult. DH & DD are in the grocery store...oh no they are back...its pouring rain here.

It'll be nice tomorrow Carla, we had that yesterday, and it is beautiful here today.
