I'm sorry to hear that Caroline is stuck in traffic because she left quite early. I hope they rebound in time for some fun tomorrow.

Well, we made it around 7:30 - 8. The traffic was horrible!! Stuck thru Phiily for about an hour (to get less than 10 miles) then stuck again a few more times! I kept telling the kids people were stopping to look at the trees because there was no rhyme or reason for some of it.

Elaine, I hear you are coming too?!?!?!

Caroline, have you told everyone you know where you are going to be this weekend so noone worries?

Actually I didn't. I think I may have mentioned it to a few friends, but I don't think I told my mom. But she has DH to call now.

I went to graduate school in DC and from NYC it could take either 4 hours or 7 hours depending how bad the traffic was. we tended to leave early evening about 8pm to get in by midnight or so if lucky. it's just a really rough drive.

Today is our anniversary - number 39. I sent flowers to DrHug at work yesterday. I'm not sure if we will go to dinner tonight or go down to the VFW hall and have potluck with the old guys....they meet on the first Friday and we have only attended a couple of meetings since DrHug joined a year or so ago. He did just get his "old soldier hat" and this will be his first opportunity to wear it. Um, let me see, nice dinner just the two of us, glass of wine, holding hands OR potluck with the old soldiers, some of whom might recognize me from work and realize I AM the complaint department for all the ills of the VA system and think it is ok to discuss all of this after the meeting. Such a hard decision!

yes we are coming - hubby jusr updated all his flying charts.

I have to fly in the morning to get everyone fed, dressed and out the door with warm clothes. It's supposed to be cold tomorrow in the PM.

The kids are excited about the amusement park. But I don't think they will understand meeting a live person from the computer.

Caroline - PM me is you have forgotten anything that we could bring with us.

OK OK OK, it is not exercise, just a method to see the ship. I will not be breaking a sweat. But at least I won't have any guilt about those Palo meals and the Dessert Buffet and the two meals at Castaway Cay, etc....

All this talk about exercise is making me break a sweat!! PJ I will be sitting in a lounge chair on deck 4 and I will have a card that I will hold up everytime I see you walk by with your lap count. That will be my contribution to the exercise club!
