I have been working on a scrap swap and a DIS circle journal that needs to head out this week. Swap is done and cj has cover, welcome and label done. Have to do the sign-in pages and my pages, then I can send it out. Should go out on Wednesday.

I said I was going to bed but I forgot to order something so then I needed to sign back o, which lead to me diverted to something else. What else is new. I signed on looking for info on Sports Illustrated Kids which led me to think about other magazines which led to thinking of science magazines specifically which led me to remembering 3-2-1 Contact. I loved that show. I loved Electric Company also. So of course then I needed to go to Barnes and Nobel site to see whether they had anything and then to Amazon. I need to control myself and not go hunting for it via google or some other search engine. I would love to find those again. If they would only rerelease it in DVD verison or iTunes. Hey they did Multiplication Rock, Grammar Rock etc - why not CTW shows...

Carla, both of these should have been out last week, lol. But with rush at the store and one of my staff out with mono and another leaving three weeks early, it has been the last thing on my mind.

Oh My Patsy, that is too funny!!!! This poor girl...she probably had no idea when she booked the cruise. Maybe by now the CMs are warning anyone else wanting to book our cruise.

wondering about the flags... have you guys ever displayed flags on your balconies before? Wouldn't it be funny if there was some obscure maritime law that got you in big trouble for displaying pirate flags?? Between that and the streaking, there might be a little more room on the catamaran.

I can just see the announcement now "Will all the Dis cult people hanging their pirate flags on their balconies please take them down so we can leave Port Canaveral. We know you guys have been having fun for the past few months, but the rest of us would like to begin our cruise."

Of course when I was a non participating lurker it was much easier now I find myself wondering - how is everyone doing, what's been posted, what am I missing. It all started with that little PM to Lisa. She is WAY too inviting and kind.

I loved everyones pictures from mickey barber sprinkles,soccer to football. I loved the pirate smilies Becka.

That is the other thing to note - I think in terms of smilies with my work email as well.

ROFL! Yes....the one where you explained that you really wanted to join us for the CM tour and gave a little info but your DH would have a fit if you officially joined any group for the cruise.

is everyone else in the midst of fundraising? I've ordered all of the wrapping paper to last forever -and I hope enough is raised so I won't be hit up for anything else for the rest of the year. There was a note about Girl Scouts or the younger equivalent in DD's backpack but I decided against it. No way Iam going to be able to keep up and I just really hate the fundraising aspect of it all. If you thew in haggling it would be just like how I felt in the straw market in Nassau.

Our kick off is this afternoon. The product is good though....frozen food. I bought a lot of it last year & we all enjoyed it. I am also hesitant about scouts due to the fundraising. They receive so little from the cost of the item for the troop. I would just write a check to the troop & leave it at that. I wont let the kids go out and sell anything. The BS were in front of the store yesterday & they had boxes of popcorn for $14 each!!!!!!!

He actually read that book yesterday and told me that I was wrong because there wasn't anything sad in it. I skimmed thru it & it wasn't really dwelt on so he probably just skipped over it.

I have reached a new level of addiction....my DIS sickness is interfering with my real sickness.

I appear to be rapidly developing DD's cold (congestion, watery eyes, sore throat...) and a lovely sinus-y headache that goes with it. I woke up really early this morning just feeling miserable but I somehow got myself back to sleep. I felt too bad to get up and get medicine. I did get up to help DH get the kids ready but then I took some medicine and I need to go back to bed for a few hours. However, before I could do that I had to check in here....it couldn't wait. What is wrong with us?
