I have replaced the list of requests to link dining with the dining assignments. We do not know our table numbers at this time. Each server section has a table for 4, 6, & 8. Everyone has been divided trying to take into account the ages of the children. In some cases the party size had the final say.

my daughter's name was picked out when I was in 10th grade--at least most of it. My parents had a foster child named Krista--I loved the name and knew that was what my daughter was going to be called. In my freshman year of college, the space shuttle exploded on take off. Christa McAuliffe was on it and I changed the spelling of my daughter's name to Christa. I always thought her name would be Christa Marie. Well my BF & next door neighbor ended up having a girl 8 months prior to my daughter and named her Kristina Marie. I kind of figured our girls might be close and Kristina Marie and Christa Marie was just too confusing. So Christa became Christa Louise. I love the sound of it. And it really did help since Christa & Kristie have become best friends. when they were younger, we would just call for Chris & Kris.

DS name was a little harder. My DH had a younger brother named Michael. He was Christa's godfather. We had decided on Stephen Michael for DS. Stephen is my DH confirmation name. Well to make a long sad story short. DH DB got Acute Lukemia at 24 years old. He lived with us while undergoing Chemo, Radiation and 2 Bone Marrow Transplants. My DH was the donor for both. DBIL was not allowed to live with his parents because they had another son living at home with 3 young children and the house was not clean enough to ensure his safety. DIL lost his battle with lukemia after 10 months. I became pregnant with DS the following year. When Christ saw her DB, she said his name is Michael Stephen. I had to ask permission from DMIL to be sure not to upset her. DBIL had only been deceased for a little over 1 year. DMIL loved that we named him that. I think DH did also.

I always wanted to name another child Jillian but DH said "The dear lord told Noah only two". so we stopped at two kids.

Come on, let's just give him a button that says "whatshisname". Grooms tend to feel that way by the wedding anyway.

Disney almost has it where it is stress free....Yeah, like I really want to wait to find this out 2 weeks before the wedding? Then you got the dinner plans, etc. etc. etc.......I am a freak about details and planning. This is what I do all day at work. I arrange all the programs and special events for the community......I'm a planner, and I have to know EVERYTHING! I think the wedding planners about to throw me overboard

Um....that is exactly why we didn't use a wedding planner. DH & I did everything ourselves.

RE GA....I don't think that Meridith will end up with either one of them tonight. They are going to drag it out at least a couple weeks.

When i lived in PA, dry cleaning required a 2nd mortgage. ($8-10 a piece for womens dresses or jackets)

Here in MD, there is such a high demand that we have decent places that charge $0.99 - $1.09 per shirt and $1.97 for any other garment. (for a buck, i'll let them iron/starch any shirt they want.)

Now that is one thing I don't do. The only thing that I take to the dry cleaner's is our King sized velour comforter at the beginning of the season to get the cedar smell out of it. They charge by the pound and it is only $6.

It looks like Karen beat me to the recap. The medicine in the show may not be the most realistic but they have a great cast and fantastic writing. It is a very good show.

BTW - I made this comment when the season finale first aired but OMG did anyone else feel like they needed a cigarette after Meridith and McDreamy's trist toward the end of the show? Wow!

IMO GA is so much better than ER.

I thought all of the Palo ressies were gone at 90 days after about 10 minutes. Maybe something has opened up but I would try real soon to see if there is any availability at all.

You are right. Brunch opened up for Tuesday the other day but I believe that is gone now too. I'll check again in a bit.

We don't have Palo reservations; we can't make them yet because we're first time cruisers. And since there are no online reservations left (and most of the 90-day people couldn't get them!) we don't have to worry about staying up until 3am!

That puts a positive spin on it.

How did you watch the show again? Our ABC affiliate was showing an old movie with Bill Cosby, "Ghost Dad." Or did you have it on tape.

I think my family has almost gotten rid of that darn cold. However, DH has a dentist appt this afternoon. He's getting a root canal in prep for a crown and a wisdom tooth pulled. He won't be a happy camper for a couple days. I told him to ask the dr for a script for pain killers. Either that or i'm going in to the dr for some meds for myself.

We had the finale on here last night too.

Brandi - tell her to get a spicy mexican meal to go, drive over to the Emergency Room and sit there and eat it and see if she goes into labor! She will either A) stink up the room and they may ask why she is there...to which she can answer to be close to a dr. or B) go into labor and voia...doctors!!!

I also vote for her camping out in the car in the ER parking lot overnight.

I must be the only person on the planet with great experiences with induced labors. Both DDs were induced (first one the doc agreed to do it on the due date because DH had to go to San francisco the next week; second DD was a week late). It was reasonable labor both times, and the anesthesiologist was there and ready to serve. For DS (my third child) it was Sunday evening of Labor Day weekend, a week before his due date. It took forever to get the anesthesiologist in, and deal with the paperwork, switching rooms, and so on while in pain!!

After the epideral kicked in, my induction for DS was great! I pushed three times & he was out when it was time. DD was suppose to be induced but she decided she didn't want to wait another day. That epideral was also WONDERFUL! She came out pretty easily too. I can't imagine having to push for more than five minutes. I hear people pushing for over an hour. UGH!
