During BTSN I may have a chance to talk to DD's band teacher and tell her about missing the parade and concert because of the cruise. Wish me luck!!

I got out Samantha's pirate outfit from last year and it is a size 2-3 but it was very very tight on her and it fits Haley! So as much as I would like thier outfits to match, that is one less thing I have to buy.

That is one nice thing about having two kids of the same sex. I can hand down some of DS's stuff to DD but most of it is real boy-ish. Plus they were born in different seasons so it seems like now that she is wearing mostly 18-24 mo. stuff all of DS's stuff in that size were for the summer.

it is nice and since my mom went nuts buying clothes when my first was born many things are barely used. I dug out a box that had 18-24month stuff in it, lots of NWT clothes and many outfits that Samantha wore on her first cruise!

Trouble is now, Samantha is in a 4 and I keep having to buy her new clothes she is growing so quickly! My mom stopped with the heavy spending!

only 4pm. I am wondering if my pool will be overflowing when we get home....hopefully someone will have come back to turn off the hose. Not sure if the pump kicks on at any point? Had no training in these issues......I am anxious to get home............................and for Grey's....I think Mer is going to go with McDreamy, its the 'ole head vs heart issue...and you can't help who you love - and I truly think he cut himself off from the wife when he found out she was cheating and that he fell in love with Meredith.

The mud story...not very dynamic. I was rather....intoxicated....as I am sure you all know about the wedding night. I went to the bathroom...you had to go outside. The whole place was MUDDY! I slipped and fell...or so I thought. My Husband told me later that I stumbled, slid, flopped around, and landed on my knees in a mud pit. He (being the WONDERFUL DH that he is) took me to our room and cleaned me up. I really wanted to go back to the party and he took me back! A little worse for wear!

My DMom just called me with "the rest of the story" from my DSILs visit to the DR today. The doctors wanted to induce her labor today. They are afraid she will have this baby at home. My LOONY SIL REFUSED!!!! She wants it to happen naturally. My mom was very upset because her doctors really did not want her to leave today. I think she is being foolish. My mom said they were even telling her about using a garbage bag and twist ties to tie off the cord. They are very concerned. Why can't she see this??? Honestly, she has always been very head strong and a little strange. All I can do is pray for her and that the baby is born safely at a hospital.

We will keep her in our prayers!!!

DS has that problem sometimes. I think sometimes after the newness of potty training wears off they get lazy and try to take shortcuts.

Yes - or they are distracted by other little boys in the bathrooms.

Oh, I definately will! She was my band teacher as well as my brothers and still remembers us. DD even mentioned her uncle to her. I told her she would immediately be on her good side.

I have had conflicting reports from people on how she will react. From having to do long reports for missing them to nothing at all. DD is a bit upset she will miss the concert, but she will do it ONLY for a Disney Cruise!

If I don't have the chance to tell her tonight, I will leave her a note for a conference.

It is a blessing to be able to hand down clothing between the 3 girls. Even the oldest gets hand-me-downs from cousins. That being said, it can also be a bit of a hassle with the sorting and the storing and the getting rid of the stuff that shouldn't have been saved in the first place. I love that once DD3 grows out of things, I can give it away and never have to look at it again!

We had to tell DD's high school chorus teacher that she would not be there for the annual holiday concert. This is a huge event at the school. people were very formal stuff and take their kids out to a very formal dinner after the second concert. they have to have 2 because alot of the alumni from the HS come and participate in the concert. It really is neat but DD decided that the cruise definitely is more important. Now I just wonder if DD has to go to the "required" concert practice that is 6 long hours on a school night prior to our departure. I am hoping the chorus director doesn't want to get the rest of the girls on stage messed up with having my DD there. I was a afraid to push my luck after telling her about the concert. DD has to write a essay on a famous woman song writer.

I'm right up there with both of you. Of course, once I stop posting on this thread my work might start getting done correctly at work and I might start paying attention to my family at home.

I first jumped onto the cruise meet thinking I'd learn the names of one or two families and have someone to wave at in the passage ways on the ship. I had no idea I was joining such a great group.

We are sooo lucky!
