DH and I are now thinking of Vegas for our 10th anniversary. We certainly won't feel guilty for not taking the kids there. ;)

We could stay 3-4 nights, maybe see a show and relax? I always thought the Luxor looked nice - cheesy but nice. What do you think Todd. Could DH and I have a good 10th in Vegas. :)

FYI, No movement ever makes me nauseous. No boat, no ride nothing EXCEPT the elevators in the Luxor. They go diagonially!

Becka - I think Vegas would be a great destination for a second honeymoon. It's an adult playground. Lots of fun shows, (way cheaper than NY), actually some decent restaurants these days (not just buffets), GREAT shopping, lots of stuff to do day and night depending on your preference. Many hotel bargains -don't fly in on the weekend - it gets really crowded. Oh did I forget gambling?

Plus if you want to see the landscape, you can get to Red rocks and other scenic places in a very short drive.

We like the Venetian hotel.

Elaine are you a vegetarian? Just thinking about Las Vegas Buffets and vegetarian food hmmmm.. My sis is a vegetarian. She does not like buffets.

We aren't going to Vegas to ride the elevators..... :rolleyes1 ;)

Just kidding Kim! Actually that is an interesting fact. I never thought about elevators having to go vertically. :confused3

Totally, totally agree. DrHug and I were Girl Scout leaders for 5 years. Yep, he was a card carrying Girl Scout! :thumbsup2 It was so much easier to enlist the help of other dads having him a part of the troop. Our DS was born during our first year of scouting and he was our troop mascot as scouting was a family affair with us! :rotfl: He grew up being very comfortable around girls. It was a very rewarding experience for our girls and us as well. We still search out GS cookies every year and buy at least a dozen boxes. We had so much fun! We did not pressure parents to sell cookies, but we did tell them that we had many activities planned and they had the choice of paying for those activities or selling cookies. They sold LOTS of cookies! :teeth:

And where did the fearless leader of the girl scouts grow up? SAVANNAH GA!

I had to laugh. I go to upload photo's and I see all these parade pictures and happy disneyworld photos. Then I post mine. It was like a blight on humanity.

HAHA I was laughing about what the next person would think! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Wow, Kim.
Somehow, "thanks for sharing the photos" doesn't sound right; yet it's fascinating in a way. So good to know that you got it handled.

Wow, kim the mold ate through your house. I have seen mold, but never to where it actually ate through the facing. Glad that ordeal is over with.

Kim, Those pictures look horrible. I'm so glad for you that it's over.

We are watching a video on cruising in Mexico. DH is planning his next trip, and his next trip, and his next trip.
