I was actually SAVED by the 40 second rule that time! Aaron would have probably had it if the administrator had let my first post go thru. :cheer2: for the 40 second rule!

My dog must have been paying attention to the Browns game . . .

Now going to be 34-10.

:sad2:

Nice to see you back, Brack . . .

I really liked those gold figures on the castle. Wonder what is next?

John1

::yes::

I also really liked the look with the gold spires. I normally did not care for the castle decorations but I was kind of hoping this one stuck around a while longer.

Allowing DD to watch what she wants allows you to :surfweb:

It is the only way the kids get to watch anything when DH is home....

Congrats on 25,000 Angie! :yay:

Looks like my DH was trying to do some pirate:-ing when i was away.

The birthday party was fun but wet and muddy. It was a pirate theme and they had a treasure hunt for the kids so DS has lots of gold coins, rings, etc.. - maybe we can work them into his costume.

Someone wanted to know if we were still on track to hit 30,000 on October 6th...

Well we hit 20,000 on September 4th and we are halfway to 30,000 on September 17th so in only 13 days we are halfway there. If it takes us another 13 days to get 5,000 posts we would hit 30,000 on September 30th. Six days ahead of schedule... ;)

We post AT work  and skip the housework and shopping to post at home. ;) Many of us expect to get canned any day now! :teeth:

I will be right behind on that one. Today I had a special event I had to put on. It was our annual mother and son bowling event, theme: Pirates of the Bowling Ally! I know how to work my magic. I have some stuff left over that I am taking on the cruise for pirate night!

Jodie, have you read the first post on this thread and gotten in touch with Lisa? :thumbsup2 We need to know who you are and all about you! ;)

Jodie. Welcome! And now, tell us everything! Where on the ship are you getting married? What does your dress like? Who is your fiance? How wonderful is your fiance? How long have you known eachother? Why a disney cruise? Is your whole family coming? (you don't have to give your shoe size and social security number until you reach 15 posts) :rotfl2:

I have some time left before Paul (fiance) comes home from his fishing trip. We are getting married on Deck 7. I don't think there is anything more romantic than being on the open ocean!

Paul and I took a cruise together last November, (Royal Caribbean Navigator) his first and my forth. Since he proposed to me in Disney World, October 1st of last year, I thought it would be fitting to have a disney wedding. My first choice was Disney World, he said no, so then I got creative and said "What about a disney cruise?" Hummmm...... That seemed to work. We both love cruising, I love disney......so we both won! Paul and I have been together for 3 years now, but have known each other for 10 years.

Paul's whole immdiate family is going, his parents, sister, brother. Both of my sisters are going, parents and brother wont be able to make it :guilty:

Neither of us wanted a traditional wedding, we are both very quiet and shy people. Plus, I LOVE to vacation, any excuse will work for me :goodvibes

I do have my dress, not sure how to post pictures, but it is a true princess dress with the princess tiara! My first fitting is in 3 weeks and my shoes should be here in 3 weeks. They better be there in time.

Well, hope I didn't bore anyone with all the details :teeth:

Angie - LOL. I'm so happy that I don't have to DIS at work or else I know I would be worried about getting canned also. Seems corp. have gotten really aggressive about spying on employees.

Now the baking I could help you with, IF only we lived closer. :sad2:
'

You guys are all too sweet!! I got my baking done by 1030 last night. I've been at the church/school since 1130 this morning and just got home. I'm beyond exhaustion. We had about 400-500 people show up. Lots of food, drinks and punch. It was a raving success!

Sadly, if they put all of us in a big padded room, we'd turn it into the fun place to be within 15 minutes.
1. Todd would have some rum stashed in his hat
2. Becka would have smiley giveaways
3. Kim would get us some concierge service
4. Lisa would make sure her people got us anything else we wanted
5. Brack & DrHug would photograph it all
6. Anything else?????

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Marielle! You crack me up! :goodvibes

PJ would scrap it so that we could remember it. :teeth:

How "Give Nothing Back" started was in the first Pirates of the Caribbean in the bar in Tortuga ..Jack and Mr.Gibbs are sitting down at a table talking about Will , that he will be the leverage that they need to get the Pearl back ...at the end of there conversation they give the drinking Pirate salute ...which one says "Take what you can" and the other replies "Give nothing Back"..... So I thought since we were a bunch of Pirates going on the cruise this would be our saying on the cruise ....Kind of like clanging your spoon on a glass at a wedding reception ..Now on the cruise in the dining rooms , when you here someone yell or me ..lol Take what you can ...you have to yell back ...Give Nothing Back ....and thats the background story on that ...

Take What you can !!!!!!!

pirate:

GIVE NOTHING BACK!!!! (Hey, I replied right after I saw your post!) :rotfl:

Brack, you wouldn't find anything about that on this thread...or not much anyway. That one started up in chat last week while we were waiting for resies to open up. We talked about quite a bit from 8 pm until 4:30 am. OY BOY! :rotfl:

Okay now that i'm caught up, I'm even more tired.

Note to self: New activity on board - streaking = less clothes to pack....probably should sign up....and if ship is crowded, and I participate, I'm sure they will be jumping over board!! Hm....wonder if streaking will occur before or after the coconut tour.
