I think poor Becka is dealing with a sick DH. Or maybe that was just a cover story.

IDK if it helps, but I wouldn't think twice about getting on a plane again after last week. I wish that it wasn't so expensive to fly or I would jump at doing that instead of driving 11 hours to WDW. :grouphug:

I have been on planes many times. Granted, many have been 10-13 hour trips! Each time it has gotten worse for me. It is a control thing. I am not in control and I can't make them just stop if I want to get off! It wouldn't make too much difference money wise if I flew too. Heck, it might even be cheaper. There is really no way DH would make the drive back with me. MAYBE he would do the train.

After the last time, about 5 years ago, I decided it would be my last. I felt so much better after I made that decision! I actually think the trip to Egypt is easier only because it is with the wind current, not across it like flying north/south. With my luck it would be in a blizzard! I will deal with this later though. Sorry for the ramble....

John and V, what adorable looking children! I hope everyone has had a great first day at school this year!

Lisa, you weren't suppose to tell them! :duck:

Our DS has all out panic attacks when he has to get on a plane. Strange too because at 14 he flew to Japan and then flew back and forth across the US in the military with no problems. But he has developed this awful fear since their honeymoon flight from LV in a puddle jumper. He did fly to WDW to meet us in 2003, but got meds and had a couple of drinks (not a good combo :sad2: ) before he got on the plane. Then Feb this year he flew up here to be bestman in BF wedding, medicated again, but COULD NOT get on the plane to go home. He was crumpled in the back of our car sobbing a few miles from the airport. I have never seen anything like that with him. We wound up sending him home in a car we were not using, but DrHug was hanging onto because he liked it alot - thinking we might give it to DGS when he started driving. 1999 Dodge Avenger now lives in AZ! :rolleyes1 He says that if he ever goes to FL with us again it is by train or car. I don't get it, I love to fly!

We were all a little sleep deprived by then! ;)

For your reading pleasure.... ;)

Quadrilateral

I have a quadrilateral but I don’t really know its name.

I only know diagonals have lengths that are the same.

Can you find the answer or is there more than one?

List the possibilities and start to have some fun!

If opposite sides are parallel, that’s both pairs you may note,

The figure is rectangular – for that you’d have to vote!

If just one pair are parallel, your first guess will be void.

Your figure is isosceles and it’s a trapezoid!

I am good at math, love it in fact. But these little ditties? They hurt my head! :lmao: And my favorite math subject: GEOGRAPHY!!!
:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :happytv: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao:

I'm callilng it a night folks. Need to do a load of dishes. I think the plan for packing is to come home early tomorrow. If my partners all show up to work, I should be able to leave around noon easy. :thumbsup2

Goodnight everyone! I am not looking forward to tomorrow morning. DS didn't go to bed until 9:30 and DD was downstairs until then while DH was playing with the DVD recorder. UGH!

Here I was wondering what I was going to do now and the lovely PJ has forwarded me some reading material. :lmao: I have heard bits & pieces but Carolyn couldn't finish some sentances when she was relaying the discussion. :lmao:

Rut Roh!!

You were right, Carolyn! The typos are hysterical...or maybe it is because I am tired? :)

Ok, everyone on here is such a good parent. First day of school pictures are great! :thumbsup2 I don't even own a working camera right now. I think I will borrow my mom's for Dina's first day at preschool. I don't believe they have any restrictions on dress there.

Not looking forward to the morning either. I had a meeting tonight so the girls didn't get in bed until after 9. DD lost a tooth when she got home from school today. Umm...I'll be right back.
