They have bikes with training wheels. Someone else may have already commented on this. I'm catching up.elaineteresa said:Has anyone rented a bicycle? It says the kids have to ride alone if they don't fit into the chair - we are still riding with training wheels. I can't believe they don't have bikes to accomodate this age group.
anyone?

It seems that when they do this it is to get some business going when lots of people are off the ship. It usually ends late afternoon. You could probably do a morning excursion and get one of the specials.elaineteresa said:I have a question for Angie and others - you mentioned that there were specials in the spa on shore days - what time would these end? would the price still be good after everyone re-boards or only during the hours when most people are ashore.
Just curious if I could afford to squeeze something extra in if I do it on a shore day.
do they ever reduce the Rasul treatment on these days. It might be fun to do it twice.
thanks.

becka said:I have been busy, busy, busy cleaning tonight. I cleaned the living room and the bathroom and I still have some laundry to fold up. DS has been "working" on his room and DH has been tackling the kitchen and dining room. DH and I are tired so he took a break to go grab us some dinner. Don't want to cook and make more dishes.
My parents are supposed to get here around lunch tomorrow but I have to go to the grocery store first thing in the morning so I really need to finish the cleaning tonight. I also have a bunch of laundry I need to fold.
He works for an agency. He works for everyone. He has worked in all the Safeways in Oregon except a couple. When he first started working for an agency he did a LOT of assignments in the far corners of the state and even down into Nothern Calif since he is liscensed in both states. He spent over 260 nights in Best Western motels the first year. He got paid his regular hourly rate while driving plus mileage so he was willing to drive 6-8 hours each way and cover that stores in the boonies. But now they just pay mileage so he said not more than an hour or so away. Not worth it to spend a day on the road each way when he could be working locally and making $$. I went with him alot and prowled around the small town histoy museums and antique shops while he worked. It was fun seeing the whole state and having our hotels, gas and his food covered.kimerinc said:Angie, does Dr. Hug rotate between stores or is he just assigned randomly?
becka said:No beach in Missouri....we are as landlocked as you can get.We do however get to go "to the Lake". Lake of the Ozarks is a HUGE lake just about 75 minutes south of us. It is centrally located so people from all over the state can get to it within a few hours.
