I always find that character stuff so confusing - if they have been approved to play several characters I would think they would appear as a different one each night. more bang for the buck.

I always thought it woyld be fun to have one of the characters tuck the kids into bed but a wee bit pricey for that. We love Baloo.

She wasn't on the first two cruises but was on the third one. Aurora was new for the second, along with Pochohantas. There have been reports of Aladdin this year so I am hoping that we can get his autograph. DD & I found him on the street in MK but I wasn't use to taking our books with us all the time. We have a picture but no autograph.
Oh, Aladdin! I like to look at Aladdin! He was at a character breakfast at DL hotel a few years ago. WHOA! :cloud9:

Kim....have you watched BB now? :) :) :) Todd isn't signed on so we could put the info in spoiler. Do you know how to do that in white print so you have to highlight it to show up?

Just the Californians . . . :rotfl2: :lmao:

Are you tuned in Jordan???

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl: That IS what they say in Orygun! :lmao: Of course DrHug and I moved here from California so we don't say that. :rotfl2: :lmao:

Getting close to a pirate:

I know Todd must be lurking out there somewhere!

Wow, five posts while I made one post, and Lisa taking up a bunch . . .

Oh to avoid that 40 second rule!

I am less worried about being flamed than upsetting Kim (since she is staying there) . . . but here goes anyway . . .

We have only stayed at the GF ONE time. I really wanted to stay there because I always thought that the hotel was so beautiful. Well, I must say we hated our stay there. The whole time, I felt like some kind of second class citizen. We may or may not make more income than the people who stay there - I don't know, but most of the people I ran into you would think are as wealthy as Donald Trump.

I'm the friendly, talkative type - at the pools, around the resort, etc.. NOT there! I always had that feeling that Brandi is talking about here. I also kept getting the feeling that I was in some kind of "Stepford Wives" run amok, as EVERYONE dressed and acted alike - men and women!

We did have a meal at 1900 this last time, and that was fine, but I never think I could feel like I belong at that place.

Sorry Kim . . . I've been waiting to get that off my chest for awhile, and Brandi opened the door.

John, and you are making it worse! I have always been the kind of person who figures everyone has to put on pants the same way so who cares about how much they make. I do care that they are clean, but other than that who cares? Also, some of the richest people I know, and these are multi millionaires, live in tiny apartments with 70's appliances and wear jeans every day so you can't judge a book by it's cover, and who wants to anyway.

Am I going to have a problem here, or should I just amuse myself with thier attitudes?

I vote for amusing your self! :teeth: :thumbsup2

So John1, do you have and issue with us West Coast people?? ;) :rotfl2: :lmao: Yes, it is the wild west, but we have learned how to use napkins and dining with us would not necessarily be a bad thing. :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: You know I am joking, of course. That just read funny to me and I had to comment.

Seriously, John1 is correct. There are fewer small kids at late seating and more of us west coasters tend to schedule late, thinking as I did first trip that the time change would be an issue. It is not. I am in bed by 11. After dinner we usually walk around the ship a bit, "walking off dinner" so the tummies are not quite so full. DrHug can stay up much later than me. Neil Diamond - I am morning, he is night time. I am the sun, he is the moon, play me.......

It's ok Angie! I'll stick with you on the late! DD and DH HATE to be rushed anywhere for food. So if we are playing or doing something fun, they will just skip eating. Plus I seriously cannot get them to bed at decent time. We all have serious jet lag so if we had early dinner, we would be wandering the ship until midnight for DD and 3 a.m. for DH. We have been on a few cruises and always liked later better. So, like Angie said. Everyone has thier own reasons...

We are heading downtown to get my meds that are finally ready and get a bite to eat. This is probably why we do so well with late dining. 7:30 - 8 is our usual dinner time because of our schedules. I never get home before 6:30 and DrHug often works until 8 or 9.

Can you guys keep my father and mother in your prayers? My DM called me and said my father was taken to the hospital...looks like he broke his hip. My father is 63, but suffering terribly with cancer and I bet his body is just really getting weak. Anyway - my mom threw her back out and can't move. So I have 2 parents out of commission. My dad has to have surgery and the ambulance took him to Tampa general. My mom is home alone at the house...hopefully able to move enough to make some food. I wish I could fly down but I just can't get away with the kids, school and work. My heart breaks and some prayers from a kind bunch like you all would really help. THANKS!! I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

that's great advice Lisa - when Cinderella is staying in your room you don't have to worry who else is staying there because you are already filled with pixie dust.

We actually have ariel staying in our room so we are hoping they have a big tub.

Here are some pictures from a soggy Cedar Point yesterday . . .

Sophia's friend is Melea, she is a Kindergarten classmate, and her mom works with Amy . . .
